New Genesis type atomizer by DID!

What was that wire size??? That seems like some jump

Just the 32 ga that Jim includes! Maybe I'm a ..... and wrap funny, but this 2/1 I have is the only one I've wrapped that is less than two ohms without twisting two lengths together. 2/3 gets me like 2.0-2.1, 3/4 gets 2.3-2.5, this 1/2 got me to 1.4-1.5.

I have always had problems getting immediate vapor, I just thought it was supposed to be that way... But now that I've had a truly low res coil I need to find a way to get more wraps. I've got a bunch of 29 ga and 30 ga on the way, hopefully that will give me what I need. Sheet of 500 mesh in the mail too!

Well Combo, I personally have to disagree about tobacco not tasting good on genie''s. I only vape BWB Casablanca 24/7/365 and the flavor is off the hook when I finally get my coil/wick working well. I can taste the slight coco in it again like I first tasted 2 years ago when I first tried it. And this is just in my cheap tank mod. Can't wait for my DID!

Huh... Maybe I should give BWB another shot... Bummer I never got to try their RY4. And its not that my tobaccos dont taste good to me, they just dont seem as complex as before.. My absolute favorite has always been Kalamazoo OMFG. Always loved it, but just tasted like a plain tobacco in the DID... Conversely, maybe the flavors I got sick of with cartos Ill love in the DID, like desserts or fruits. Keeping my fingers crossed anyway. I do notice that changing things up helps. I have two DIDs so Ill typically switch for the other one each morning so I never vape the same juice more than one day... More than a day or so and the flavor seems to lose its punch to me... I could just be finicky I suppose..

You'll love the DID- hope you get it soon. Im waiting on my upgrade top caps, the set up base, and the DID drip tips...

Haha, a little wine or beer has helped me in the past with a bad DID day.. Drip and drink a little bit, go back again and voila- fresh (read slightly innebriated) perspective and no more hotspots!

LOL Aint that the truth, I had a glass of wine to calm my nerves with my first wick/coil on rebuildables and BANG Got it first try and it worked for like two or three weeks. Only reason I changed it out was because I was bored and wanted something to do

Yeah 34 only takes like 2 wraps to make 1.8 Ohms. When you twist it though it allows for more wraps and lower ohms

29 or 30 allows for a good amount of wraps, I use 4/5 at 30 gauge to get 1.3 ohms with one single wire. I do not twist these as the Ohms is way to low.

BUT....I HATE those days when you have been wrapping for a very long time and then just get "that day". I sympathize. Luckily we don't get those too often anymore.

Yes the 34 AWG Twisted is definitely an acquired skill and taste. My experience has been that the taste suffers a very tiny bit for the juices I use, but the Vapor Production is Un Real!!

I hear ya, I am getting ready to order another spool of 34 AWG just in case I decide I want to use it raw or twisted coils since my Gemeni will be on my Provari I can do whatever resistance as long as it is not too low

@MisterCombo21 - I really like fruit / candy flavors right now. Banana, cinful mint (tastes like red hots candy), gorilla juice, and of course Pluid!

@vapspaz - Well, taste is entirely subjective. I've heard nothing but good things about BWB's tobacs though.

@uma - You'll get it in no time. The mini is the hardest to setup out of everything that I own. There is just zero room in there, and the nuts move on you and no good way to hold them. I still say all DID's should come with enough nuts to take up all the space between the top nuts and the center post retention nut. I would have gladly paid an extra $10 for that.

I honestly didn't know I needed them in the beginning as this was my first genesis setup. Had I known, I would have ordered them. Jim said they're an M2 thread, I probably have something in the RC stuff that would work.

I decided to drill out my fill screw today.

With this 8wrap 28awg 1.2ohm nichrome coil it really needs to get that juice to the coil quick smart.
I found a local supplier of hex m3 bolts and bought a few (18 LOL) to experiment with, as I DID not want to attack Jim's bolt that came with my DID.

Anyone want to see that thirsty coil?

All my DIDs are currently playing well with others.
