The temon rules!!! So compact and perfect looking but packs a huge punch. I always found it difficult bringing my 22mm devices out and about with me but with the temon- the top cap is screws on so it's secure and I don't have to worry too much about keeping it upright and it fits in my front shirt pocket comfortably. Just carry a few 14500's and I've got the perfect vape with me wherever I go. No more compromising on performance for this guy, thanks Jim, your the man. Now how about a brass drip tip to really set this baby off?

Brass knurling on the atomizer would be sick too

Might make you sick too. LOL .
A little bit of brass ( post and nuts) in contact with e-juice might be ok, but the knurling is part of the bottom and top decks of the DID, too large a surface area in contact with juice me thinks.

For me, cleaning consists of
  1. twisting out the wick
  2. Dry burn the coil till clean
  3. torch the wick and douse under hot running water
At least once a year i take it completely apart, soak in PGA and rinse with hot water (whether it needs it or not)
Similar here except i have not had the several DID'S a year yet . I take out all the screws and put DID under faucet and let water run out the top holes for a good rinsing.
Also after rinsing mesh wick and massaging it by hand i get a mouth full of water and blow it thru the wick hole.lol

There will be new version of the DID?
Hm, I am reading the thread every single day and that's a new 20 for me.
I tend to miss vital info from time to time... silly me.
Yes sooner or later its been said.
I also wait for this , i have several of the DID 20@3.5ml capacity that i have to fill several times daily along with another rebuildable i have , maybe im in minority as such a heavy vaporer.
Would like to see a full 5ml capacity then perhaps i can fill my DID'S once daily.

I take what he makes though over 3.5ml as i need another DID.
The way Jim fashions the top base with the holes makes them so easy to coil as the wick hole is placed perfect in my opinion and quite easy for me. ; )

A user named "Dio13" posted this pic over on the Pit and I figured it was worth reposting over here. I'm tempted to give this a try with one of my spare top caps to see if I can remove the knurling without taking too much metal off the OD, I think it'd look really clean on a 2-tone GGTS ;)
Here's what the original poster wrote along side the image, "Here is a better pic of my custom made short DiD", which leads me to believe that maybe this is a 1-off custom that Jim made rather than a DIY job. Watcha guys think?

Funny you brought that up. I was wishing the Gemini came like that. So it would look more seamless with the poldiac But I would keep it all gloss finish. They serve a purpose so it me be hard to take apart.

Quick photo wizard. Color is off.

Nice idea, I think that'd look great on the Gemini. The aesthetics of it are a little busy as is, so I think something like this would really clean up it's look. Now wouldn't the glossy finish make it even harder to disassemble without the knurling though? But realistically, I guess it wouldn't be all that difficult to pull it apart regardless of what finish is on there.

Yea. But I haven't taken apart mine since I fixed it. :). I don't change flavors. So it may work for me. Just dreaming. It will still look good and work great! As is.

Good morning! I like the knurling and the non-knurling both. For me, it would depend upon which mod it was set on, too, as mentioned. Certainly nice either way!
OHHH, love the gold plating idea!!

My son-in-law brought us a Generator to use for the this winter! Now we have both solar panels and the generator! I've already used one whole tankful watching DVD's lol. Hubs said he'll bring more gas home soon, but in the meantime, I'd best learn how to allot it if I ever want a Poldiac! He even went to the Poldiac page on Jim's site!! My heart was leaping until he closed the page without asking me "how do you want it?". Soooooo close!! But, the kids come first... and slinky's aren't in their wish list unfortunately. They want the Kinetic that's been on their wish list for a few years now, and hubs thinks it's high time THEY got something on the top of their list. He's cruisin.... but, I agree, somewhat. We're kind of like the Walton's, my family, except our "rooms" are a few miles apart. I wouldn't have it any other way, and keeping them happy makes me happy.

okay okay, you got me. Of course I, too, want to play a Kinetic when I'm over there. :D
