Strpswpr, beautiful pic!!

Classwife, (((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))) oh man, I'm so very sorry for your loss. :( I wish I was rich, I'd hurry you over a new one right away! I really feel for you.

Wish I was rich too Uma:) then I would write blank cheque to Jim for all new updates, starting with a switch for each tube. I just love those switches:hubba:
Sorry for your loss Classwife.

So many new ones lately, I'm seeing Poldiac's in everyones hands when I type. :) Sorry about that. Now, get off your dithers, and get to ordering! You can always change your mind later and order new outfits for it. :) It really is a nice hard hitting, beautiful, extremely well crafted mod. LOL, I'm getting pushy! I just want you to enjoy your new toy as much as I'm enjoying mine. I feel bad for you!!

Me too! and the switch-outs are easy to do too! Unless, of course, you're like me, where my strong is everyone else's gentle, and so when I'm careful and gentle, it's the same as a whisper.... the shirt came off easy once I stopped "being gentle" lol. Well, I was nervous, being my first time to undress her and all y'know. "D

We might have to get our Poldiac's their own CC's for their wardrobe expenses to come. :)

I use the AW's as well and they are just fine. The MNKE 18650's have a much higher maximum discharge rate so they work better for ultra low resistance coils (below 1.0Ω). They seem to put out > 3.9volts longer before dropping off. I change out my batts around 3.8 volts so even though they are a lower mAh, the usable range for me last longer. They make 26650's and 18650's but I really love the Poldiac in it's 18500 config.

This is untrue. The AW IMR (the red ones) batteries have a 20amp continuous discharge rate...the MNKE are also rated 20amps for continuous discharge. The only difference is in pulsed discharge. The AW is rated at 40amp pulsed discharge and the MNKE are rated at 60amp pulsed discharge.

   You two crack me up!!

As much as I prefer Poldiac above everything else out there and will buy another, I still love my Provari Mini and its a keeper for me.
I feel the same about my Roller. It's a keeper too. In fact, you can often find me vaping both at the same exact time. Cappuchino and Butter Rum vapor mix nicely together. :) I love them both. I'm madly in love with two mods. I'm going to hell in a hand basket.

That's great to hear. I took a look at AW's dealer thread on CPF and they have the following information posted.

IMR18650 -2000 Specifications :

Nominal Voltage : 3.7V
Capacity : 2000mAH
Lowest Discharge Voltage : 2.50V
Standard Charge : CC/CV ( max. charging rate 2A )
Cycle Life : > 500 cycles
Max. continuous discharge rate : 10A
Operating Discharge Temperature : -10 - 60 Degree Celsius

I purchased, a while back, a new top cap with serial # and logo. It was for those that purchased a DID before that was being done.

So I finially got around to installing it last night and the only drip tips I own that fit are Sagewood glass tips.....personally I prefer a short SS tip on my DID (I think it suits it best) but can no longer use them......any ideas?

Thx

All supert, caravelas and any other dt I own fits all 4 of my dids. Something is wrong

Yeah Burnie, something sentimental about my Provari for me too. Unfortunately (depending on your perspective) all my DIDs have sequentially been rebuilt ultra-LR so only work on my Mech mods and by far my Poldiac is the "cream of the crop" in that domain. Only thing I still run on my VV/VW devices are other RBAs coiled SR that I only toot occasionally.

My Poldiac #113 arrived a few days ago along with my Gemini conversion kit for my Mini, (which sadly was getting little or no use due to the fact I'm a juice hog and capacity was just too small for my needs).
The machining and build quality is very good as expected from Jim.
The side button is really growing on me, having become accustomed to the bottom button on my Paps while I waited for the Poldiac to be released.
My Newly adapted Mini to Gemini is also growing on me and really looks uniquely beautiful on the Poldiac.
Congratulations JIM for another fine specimen of exquisite engineering.:toast:

It's just a shorty from KC Mawn.....I have tried my Caravela but its tighter in a Zenesis than the KC tip and there is no way it gets close to fitting.

Here is a crude vid......rocking glass and it is okay but my preference is my short SS tips. I will likely just go back to the top cap with no logo or serial and toss the fancy one in a drawer. I just decided to install the new one becuz I thought it looked cool with the logo while on the Poldiac. :)

Crude vid....done with my iPhone using just me, one hand and two knees to hold the phone at certain points.  :D
