Hey Pete, I think that's a good point. I've had a couple times I thought I'd need to clean but didn't see any tarnish so just jiggled everything (including twisting the battery spring) around and was good to go for another week.

Good idea! I'll give this a try when I get back home to my baby.

I do the paste. It works well. Make a thick paste and rub in fingers. Rinse in warm water bowl. Use small qtip to get in. Mine look more skinny too. I find when I need to push the button hard to fire time to clean. Or do like uma. Wait for miss fire. :) and the dont clean it. Lol. Just talk about it. Lol.

Thanks Tony.

..well at least she'll have an amazing paperweight

   I so deserve that. I've been such a scairdy cat, letting myself be distracted by many of the excited Poldiac threads on the net. It's all Cloud Wizard's fault! :p

I've used baking soda and vinegar to make a thin paste and put all the asst parts to set in it for about 10 minutes, this works really well. I also use this for the brass center post and screws from my DID, cleans them up nicely. I pull them, rinse in distilled water and then a quick dip in alcohol to dry them off. While they are bathing I wipe down all the threading with alcohol. I've done this a couple of times now and it hits like a ton of bricks afterwards.

Hi everybody!!:vapor:
I feel like I miss the best part those days with so many things I have to do.
And the best part is this thread !!!!!
I read everything and I see the need of a video with Poldiac contacts cleanning!
I say every day the same: "Tonight I have to make the video" but when I am here at home the only thing I NEED BADLY is a bath and see my baby for a couple of "hours" and at list read all the new posts!
Those simple things after the running of the day becomes on 2 heavy eyelashes , so heavy !! lol

Thank you for the respect of the rules that were not necessary to mention at my first post of this thread and you keep the same till today!
My respects to all of you is my work, and I try for this everyday!
I see that I will not handle any more orders in a few days!
This is a good problem but I have proofs that I do not want this to happen, and when it does ...I do not feel good.
DID will be Out of Stock maybe until tomorrow!
What can I say ?
only THANK YOU!
I will need about 10 days (I think ) to be all IN STOCK!

KEEP on posting fotos in the FOTO ALBUM.

Jim I know the competition is fierce. But I will say the did I have for 7 months is just as good as new and I beat the crap out of it. Just think it sits in a soft bag attached to my shield on my vibrating motorcycle for over 10 hours a week. In 28 to 110 degree temp weather Dont forget the rain. All I can say some buy for looks or to be trendy and move on to the next I buy for function and quality. This did is a super quality product.
I've had the poldiac for only 2 months and I see the same trend. Sleep well my friend. If you have something that doesn't meet quality control. I would use it in the wild. :).

Very well said Tony, I agree 100% Looks are not everything but Quality Is. And we get both of these from Jim, a rarity these days.

I know this will come off wrong. But I am a fairly educated man. I made some good money in my day. So I could afford better things. There is not always a correlation with price and quality and most important lasting quality. But in this case with mmvapors it is. In addition I always went against the grain and made decisions based on facts not popularity. What I am trying to say is for the most part people don't really make good choices or give good advice. I see this on the Facebook wick and wire page When Mmvapors stuff gets posted people ignore it. But post some 15 dollar crap and wow. All I read is I want one I want one.
Yes drinking again :)

Is it no wonder we love you as much as we do your products and customer service! You're the best Jim!!!

Hey Tony, there are fun exciting threads out there too. Check out the VapePit, for instance... CloudWizard is practically famous now. :D
It's been fun trying to keep up with all the excitement. People are just as ecstatic over the packaging & fast shipping, as they are about the Poldiac, and the Poldiac is crazy well loved. I've spent so much time reading the fun posts lately that I've gotten behind with my own projects lol. So, cheer up Tony!! All is well. :)

Don't worry about that... Folks in the pit give as good as they get (or better). It's not a nice "how can I help kind of place" more of a "if you can't figure it out you stink, but try this and see if it works" (no rules about language so replace the word "stink" with something illegal here)

:). My kind of joint! It's very hard for me to be PC. It's phony. Very passive aggressive. Makes me want to puke I see I can't post yet. Have to wait to start the bar fight. Lol

Ok so I am thoroughly frustrated so I'm turning to you fine people to help me out. Hey I'll at least get to vent. I just got my 1st multimeter today. (I know about time right.) I got this one. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B003LCL4D6 Well I'm having issues, lots of them. I'm testing a 4/3 wrap of 28g Kanthal and I'm getting readings jumping all over the place when trying to get the ohms. When I can get a reading it's at like 1.6 to 1.7 ohms. From reading I was expecting right around 1ohm.

Also when trying to test voltage under load I'm getting an OL reading which I have found out means "over load". Is this what a short looks like on a multimeter? If so I'm stumped. My wick is well seasoned. It's over a month old. My coils have no hot spots. It's not hitting the bottom of the tank or either posts. And above all else it tastes fine.

Keep in mind this all depends on if I'm actually using the damn thing properly but I think I am. Could it be a bad multimeter?

Few things to consider. What holes are you putting your leads in. Ii would use the far right red lead. Black I hope you got.

Second are you clipping the leads on the atty. just holding them on will cause erratic readings.

Make sure when checking voltage drop you select DC and have on volts not mili volts same for ohms.
