Man way to warp speed to your first Reo! Notice I said first :D

All great suggestions for supplies .You can also use a drill bit if you have one instead of a needle to wrap your coils or hit up Darkzero.Hes got a sweet coil jig that would be super easy for a new coil wrapper .

vape on!

Hola SL, funny we cross paths here. Now you know one of the places where I have been hiding, sssh, don't tell anyone. :D

Good to see you here & congrats on the nice Reo. BTW, if you haven't noticed yet, Mac is here too (not in Reoville though).

I started with 1.5LR Ciscos, once you get the hang of blind squonking & not flooding them they perform great, well for me they did. I rotated them every week with an isopropyl bath & ultrasonic cleaning.

Hey there DZ, and by referring to me as SL, I guess you got my pm! Macs here too? Is he making cool stuff that I'll need to buy too? Oh man, this hobby just got cooler...and more expensive. Next you'll tell me there are TranquilityBase mods and an Arcmania VV set-up, a mcGizmk box mod....my wallet hurts just joking about it!

Yup, I did. Haven't followed much but last I saw Mac was making tube mods & RBAs.... out of Ti of course. Haven't seen anyone else though, haven't talked to TB in ages.

Congrats on your Reo! I'm ordering my first one ever next week, also going for the mini 2.1. Been vaping since last March and loving every minute. Went from a Ego starter kit, to clearomizers (almost all of them lol), recently fell in LOVE with Carto Tanks...and then, finally got my first dripper yesterday. I got a 510 LR stingray from House of Vapor, awesome right out of the box. Man, the flavor I've been MISSING! But I've also been researching Reos for a while, so I feel like this is going to be the ultimate combo for me. Glad to see everyone loves the RM2, great price for a bottom feed rebuildable. I've been terrified to enter the world of building my own coils, but after watching some cool vids now I can't wait. Not to mention the savings from not having to spend 20$ or more a month on cartos and disposable attys. Anything beats the 10$ I used to spend daily on nasty analogs! Vape on everyone and I'll meet you in ReoVille next week :toast:

Welcome to reoville!

I will say that I just about gave up on my REO. While it vapes great, my attys were fouling and burning juice and I would have to give them a good vodka soak and dry burn to clean. But after that first round of cleaning they only seemed to last 6 ml or so before needing cleaned again.

Cartos would only last me 6-12 ml then start plugging up (like sucking thru a collapsed straw) or tasting off.

My best advice to a REO owner ..... buy the RM2 Reomizer from reosmods. My REO has gone from my least used device to my daily vape! Also read the sticked thread in this forum about microcoils. The taste and vapor production is simply the best I have had.

I'd suggest 28 and 30 ga wire. You can buy small quantities on REOsmods. Temco industrial is where I order large quantities from.

Sterile rolled cotton from CVS (box in the bandage section)

Needles come from wizard labs 16 ga is great or a drill bit / nail / paper clip that is approximately 1.4. - 1.6 mm.

Rock on :)

Somehow I knew super x would be here :) listen to this guy... his micro-coil post is what got me re-hooked on my REO

Thanks for the welcome everyone...And yes I already studied Super-X's tutorial post and his awesome, easy video on the topic. I'm ready to rebuild and haven't even placed my order yet haha. I'm excited!

Y'all have no idea how good it makes me feel to here you praising my work :).

I'm glad you like it :)

Thank you :)

How easy it is is exactly why I made tutorials, videos and have been such a strong advocate of RBing A's.

It was only a short time ago that I thought they were WAY too advanced for me :)

Lol I hear you. I have dabbled in Genesis attys (don't like em), and RDA with subohm.... but it wasn't until I saw super-X's post that I tried microcoils. Its been over a month now and I haven't touched my cleros, protanks, or carto tanks once!
