OK, SO I STARTED vaping, AND QUIT SMOKING. ALTHOUGH SOMETIMES I SMOKE A CIGGY LIKE ABOUT ONCE A WEEK. ANYWAYS...

I LOOOOVE TO VAPE ITS A NEW OBSESSION OF MINE.BUT I HAVE QUESTIONS...

1. I BOUGHT A KIT FROM MY LOCAL VAPE STORE IN MIAMI FL. THE ONLY PLACE I KNOW ABOUT AND CAN FIND NEAR BY. IT WAS GREAT BUT THEN I STARTED TO FIND OUT THAT I CAN MAKE MY OWN juice... SO I STARTED WITH THE DIY STUFF, I COULDNT BE HAPPIER.. I LOVE MIXING. I GET MY STUFF FROM WIZARD LABS, THEY ARE THHHHHEEEE BESSSSSTTTT WITH NIC, SUPPLY'S, juice, PG, VG.. THE NIC IS ORGANIC, AND ITS NOT TOOOOO FAR AWAY FROM ME SO I CAN DRIVE THERE ( I AM A BIT IMPATIENT, SO SOMETIMES I CANT WAIT FOR SHIPPING). EVERYTHING ABOUT WIZARD LABS AND THE OWNER JOHN ARE FANTASTIC..:toast:
BUT I HAVE A PROBLEM FINDING A PLACE THAT SHOWS A LIST OF TPA FLAVORING ONLY RECIPE'S ANYONE KNOW OF A SITE OR ANYTHING??? (I ALREADY KNOW I CAN FIND SOME HERE BUT I HAVE TO SEARCH THROUGH PAGES AND PAGES OF THE FORUM, IM LOOKING FOR MORE LIKE A DATABASE OR SOMETHING SIMILAR)

2. NOW I HAVE BOUGHT 2 MORE BATTERY'S FROM MY LOCAL VAPE STORE, THE FIRST ONE I BOUGHT WAS A LITTLE 600 SOMETHING BATTERY, SECOND WAS A 900 SOMETHING I BELIEVE AND I JUST BOUGHT A NEW 1100 MAH VV THEY JUST CAME OUT WITH.. I HAVE A VIVI NOVA 2.5 TANK SITTING ON IT AND I LOOOVVVE THE VIVI TANK, (HOW MANY OHMS SHOULD MY ATTY BE AT IN THE TANK FOR A 1100 MAH BATTERY?) BUT MY PROBLEM HERE IS THAT I NEED A HIGHER VOLTAGE.. THIS 1100 MAH BATTERY IS A VV BATTERY BUT IT ONLY GOES UP TO 4.6 VOLTS.. I WANNA GO UP TO 5 VOLTS OR 5.5 VOLTS.. IM HEADING TOWARDS A PROVARI, I KNOW IM HEADING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.. I FEEL LIKE MY BATTERY SUCKS BECAUSE I CANT GET ENOUGH OF A WARM VAPE OR CONSISTANT THROAT HIT... I FEEL LIKE I NEED A BIG BATTERY. THE VAPE STORE NEAR BY ME SELL THE PROVARI V2 BUT ONLY BY ITSELF.. EVERYTHING ELSE IS " A LA CARTE" WHICH SUCKS IM LOOKING FOR THE VERY CHEAPEST PLACE TO BUY A PROVARI V2 KIT... WITH EVERYYYTHING THE EXTENDED CAP .. ALL THAT.. I CAN CARE LESS FOR THE COLOR. AND I KNOW I CAN TWIST MY VIVI NOVA TANK ON IT... ANYBODY KNOW OF A GOOD PLACE? OR MAYBE ANY OTHER COMMENTS ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE??

3. DOES ANYONE KNOW OF SOMEONE ON THIS SITE THAT IS SELLING THEIR PROVARI AS A KIT?... MAYBE I CAN GET IT CHEAPER IF ITS USED???/.. I DONT MIND SO LONG AS IT STILL WORKS.. "JOHN" OVER AT WIZARD LABS TOLD ME ROCKETMAN SELLS HOMEMADE APV'S .. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF IT WILL WORK LIKE A PROVARI.. DOES ANYONE KNOW OF AN IN EXPENSIVE WAY TO MAKE MY OWN... (THE EASIEST WAY POSSIBLE?) BECAUSE IM NOT VERY TECHY.. I DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT BATTERY'S OR CONNECTING THEM OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT...

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANYONE WHO RESPONDS.. VAPE ONNNNN...:vapor:

mAh of the battery relates to how long the charge will last. You don't need more mAh for a warmer vapor, you need lower resistance coil.
Ohms are units of resistance. So while you may wind up with a ProVari, understanding the relationship of resistance and voltage as it pertains to you vaping experience is critical.

From what I understand from the original post, OP bought a 1000mAh twist battery (variable voltage) and a Vivi Nova tank. Good solid kit. Milliamp hour (mAH) has more to do with battery lifespan, how long you can use the battery. If your Vivi Nova Tank comes in a box, it probably comes with 2 extra "heads". Look for one that says 1.8 ohm and run it at 4V for a warmer vape (this is from personal experience YMMV) and adjust to taste up or down. The only advantage of the ProVari over the twist, IMHO, would be the replaceable battery, and higher voltage limit (my guess is you won't be able to run that 1.8 ohm at max setting of 6V anyway, the switch has an amp limit as well). With the twist, when the battery dies, you replace the whole unit.

Another advantage of the Vivi Nova tank, is that the head is easy to rebuild. You need wicking material (100% cotton for me) + wire to make a coil (Kanthal A1 32AWG, again is only what I use) only. Plenty of videos about on Youtube about rebuilding Vivi Novas. When building your own head, you can determine the resistance (ohm rating) of the coil you're building by a couple variables: Thinner wire or adding more wraps to your coil give higher resistance (cooler vape at the same voltage setting). Thicker wire or reducing the number of wraps give you lower resistance (warmer vape at the same voltage setting).

You can do alot already with what you have. Experiment, enjoy the vape! :)

Aoi is correct. Most VV mods have current limiting built in so that overzealous cranking up of voltage won't blow out your atty, carto or battery -- Google "Ohm's Law" for the relationship between voltage, current and resistance). The Twist should be all you need with a lower res device on it. There was a time when low-res stuff tended to crap out earlier than high-res, but not so much any longer except for user misuse (using too many volts/too high a current, incessant chain vaping, etc.) The ProVari is cool and was once state of the art, but things change every few months in the vape world. :)

well, mine is a 1100 mah with a vivi nova 2.5 tank sitting on it.. i have read alot about ohms and attys and all that, so i noticed that im using a 2.8 Ohm atty on my battery and firing at 4.2 volts.. which should be ok... but when i get home i will try switching to a 1.8ohm to see if it vapes warmer ( it should). but i feel like more volts would give me a stronger TH and more vapor production.. am i right?

lol thats exactly what i was suggesting to myself... everybody seems to like to use a 1.8 atty for everything.. i want strong flavorful TH and Vapor. lots and lots of Vapor.. i use mostly vg in my mixes so it cant be the juice....

another thing..... is my battery crappy? or is it ok for a beginner? or is it good?... i fee as if the provari will give me what i need.

I didn't get the battery type is it a twist? The mah refers to usage 100mah = about 1 hour of usage. You should be good for at least 8/9 hours on yours. I use the 2.4 head at about 4.3v and that suits me. Going higher I get a burnt taste but it could be my old tastebuds. A lot of this is playing with the equip for what you like. High voltage is not all it's cracked up to be, just because you got it doesn't mean you gotta use it.

An ego twist is a variable voltage ecig. It has a base that twists and you can raise the voltage little by little. Goes from about 3.3 to 4.8v. The numbers are very hard for me too see so I do it by taste and a magnifying glass lol. You just twist the base for higher volts. Next week will let you know on the provari I just ordered one.
