    No you can't
I love to vape. A little :( caution is needed. Given up cigs for vapeing is great but remember you are going to have a new habit and how you use it will be with you. All habits take 30 days to  break. So if you chain vape it will take 30 days to break the habit. If you vape at a high nicotine level it will take 30 days to reform your habit to a lower nicotine level. Even if you vape when driving and you want to stop vapeing in your car it will take 30 days to break your habit. As you can see how you use your :vapor: vaping device will be a habit.

One other thing how you spend your money on stuff will be a HABIT!

Habits are distracting alright. It is a choice, youre right. 30 days couldnt be true for everyone. Must be true for you. You know how they say, replacing a bad habit with a good one is the way to go. Habits are probably something people have as a form of comfort in a chaotic world. Spending money is an interesting habit. People are hunter gatherers and since we no longer hunt and gather from nature with bows and arrows and paskets, we hunt and gather from stores....with money

I'm curious as to why anyone would have an aversion to vaping in their car. I mean, what's the problem with it?
I prefer vaping in my car. No Fidding with the lighter, ( digging in the purse) no looking down and missing the ash tray any way. No hot red clumps falling in your lap. This is one of the best perks, to only hold my device and never take my eyes off the road. Goodness.

I'm perfectly happy having a "vaping habit". I don't really have any intention of stopping, actually. I've just about licked the "addiction" factor with the nicotine, so all it is now is, as Faylool says: a form of comfort in a chaotic world. I like to vape. I like the rituals and the drawing in of the vapor and the flavor, and the exhalation of the vapor clouds. I don't want to quit, I enjoy it. I don't drink. I don't eat chocolate incessantly, I don't overeat food at all. I don't really have any vices, and I don't consider vaping a "vice". What's wrong with a habit? I'll vape in the car when I want. Why not? It doesn't stain anything or cause discomfort to others. If I have a bit of discretionary income...why not spend it on something that gives me simple pleasure and makes me happy?

Everyone has SOME sort of "habit". Biting nails. Going to the bathroom before leaving the house. Eating the vegetables at dinner first. Sleeping on one's back. Or side. Or stomach. Drinking a glass of milk at bedtime. Saying "gasundeit" when someone sneezes. Whatever. There's always something...right?

Nope. I went 24 hours without vaping earlier this week, because I was under the weather and just didn't feel like it. I never could have done that with cigs - I smoked with freaking pneumonia and hacking my lungs out, because I needed to.

And I've gone from 24 mg nicotine to 8 or 10 in 6 weeks, no problem at all. It didn't take me some 30 day major effort per reduction.

As far as spending a) it's less than I spent on analogs, and b) even if it's more, so? I know plenty of people who have hobbies a lot more expensive than vaping. Try golfing. Or buying shoes. Or season tickets to your favorite pro sports team. Or collecting some odd memorabilia. Or enjoying fine wine or gourmet coffees and all their nifty gadgets and accoutrements.

I'm not trying to pick a fight, here, I just honestly can't figure out why there's any need to wave the "naughty naughty!" finger of warning over vaping. I may vape til I croak at a ripe old age. And feel perfectly good about it.

    No it doesn't.

I chain vaped when I quit cigarettes to switch to vaping. Eventually I cut down without trying.
I cut my nicotine. I chain vaped. Eventually I cut down without trying.
I cut my nicotine again. I chain vaped. Eventually I cut down without trying.
I increased my nicotine. I often have to remind myself to vape (need nicotine for medicinal reasons).
If they change my medical diagnosis I'd have no problem cutting out nicotine again. And while I'm sure I would vape more for a time after each cut down I bet the time the chain vaping lasted would be shorter than when I was fresh off cigarettes.

I chain smoked when I quit cigarettes to switch to a pipe. That chain smoking lasted a lot longer than 30 days but I eventually did cut way down without trying (from something like 8-9 large bowls a day to maybe 3 a day).

Exactly! There is a difference between bad habits and good habits. A habit can be just about anything. One of my habits is just before bed time, I take my dogs outside and when they come back in they get treats before they go to bed.

    They love that habit.

Vaping may or may not be a habit, but if it is a habit for me, it is a good habit.

    Vape On! :vapor:

I realize I have exchanged on addiction for another. But I also feel like it is a healthier choice. I am still new to all this but I have no intention of slowing down as long as it keeps me smokefree and above all...... happy. If I am vaping, I know I am awake. If it is with coffee, I know it is morning. If I take off my lanyard, I know it's time for bed. I love it and may be a little OCD. heehee:D

Well I can safely say this is the best habit I've ever had, both from a financial point and from a health point.

I've no intention of quitting vaping or cutting down my nicotine.

My Wife says it's becoming a major part of my life now. I say at least I will have a longer life to devote to vaping now, as well as spending more of my life with her :D

maybe they don't want their car's interior smelling like awesome freshly baked blueberry muffins like MY truck currently does?

Take it down to WashTub to get detailed. They'll spray some fake plasticky smelling stuff in there that will fix it right up for you. :p
