That's what I plan on doing for my Billet Box. Will figure out how much I need to spend (on the box and assorted extras), and set that aside until I can actually make the purchase

For those who don't know: Doug (the owner of Billet Box Vapor) only makes a few a week. They go up on his site on saturday, and have been selling out within an hour or so

Nowadays I have a pouch where I keep loose change and extra money that I didn't spend and that quickly adds up. When something new comes up and I want to buy it I just reach for that pouch and most of the time it's almost enough to buy it. The little money I have to put up to complete the payment becomes negligible.

yep, any delta between what I would have spent on smokes what I do spend on liquids these last two months just will bide its time in a high yield savings until vendors can sort out their manufacturing backlog. Bummer though, been looking forward to trying out temperature controlled setups in a smaller form factor.

I don't have much interest in a larger box. I bought the IPV3 for battery life and higher wattage option, but I don't take it out much since it's the same size and weight as a late-80's/early 90's cell phone. Antennae not included for free.

Welcome to Vaping! Its always been that way Things are way better now than they were a few years ago. But yea the good stuff always sells out pretty quick and we tend to move to the next latest and greatest pretty quickly so IM sure a vendor dose not want to get caught holding a has been and have to sell it off for les than he bought it for.

I have one of these coming its about the same price as a shark its a pre order http://vapenw.com/coming-soon/yihi-sx-mini-m-class

Interesting - that's the same chip (not "M class", which is unrelated to an "M class planet") that's in the IPV series. Some the the "features" IPV has added in the past are more just nuisances. I'll add "gravity sensor for wattage adjust" to that list - speculatively at least. But it's good to see other manufacturers playing in the market - competition brings down prices, and temp controlled has been dropping but not fast enough.

Perhaps its good Vapor Shark is out of stock - encouragement to sit on it a little longer?

THIS!

People discover vaping with basic equipment at New Year's resolution time, then go shopping for upgrades at tax refund time. Seems that way to me anyway...

If you go to WalMart or Best Buy during the February/March timeframe, you will see they do their largest number of sales in big screen TV's during this time. It's bound to happen when you have a family that makes $10-15k a year get a tax refund check which equals their annual salary.
