Right , though i dont vape heavy so even a smaller battery lasts pretty good. I would think outside of the charging thing , if a battery does explode or something in your pocket or hand , i would guess that a smaller battery would be better. But not sure.
Almost all the vaping-related battery accidents you hear about involve replaceable batteries - currently, that usually means the 18650s or 2X700s used in bigger mods. The real problem with them is that they're not designed to be used as vapers use them. They're meant to be soldered into a battery pack complete with various safety devices. Accidents happen (mostly) when people carry them loose in their pockets and they short out on keys or something of the sort, or when they're used improperly after they've been damaged or something.
With your little pod mod batteries, the main safety concerns would probably be:
- Using a bad adapter/charger - an unknown brand from somewhere like Amazon or Alibaba might have the wrong voltage and damage the battery
- Carrying the battery loose in your pocket or bag without the pod - a key or foil wrapping or any other bit of metal could short out the battery
It is true that a smaller (or rather, a less powerful) battery would do less damage than a more powerful one, but most people would consider an exploding pocket of any variety to be far more damage than they'd like to experience.
