Did you know that this single thread brought me out of lurk mode? I read all 172 pages and laughed more than once. Well done, you guys. :)

So I want to get a subox Mini, but I'm currently waiting for the elusive v2, and the wait is driving me crazy! Has anyone heard any new news on an update?
Welcome to the thread! Still no news on the elusive v2. There have been a few instances on Reddit of people claiming to have the spring loaded pin. If you want to know before you order, shoot the retailer an email. They will know which version they have in stock.

I've been cheating on you guys with the Innoken Disrupter thread.

Wanted to say if you haven't entered the drawing you should. I won in one of the quick draw contests they have been having in the thread  and I must say it is a pretty sweet device....

Hi all, thought it was probably time to stop lurking....

I don't understand how you guys are running at 15w + on 1.5 ohm?! I get above 12w and I'm coughing! Love the look and feel of the device (its my first 'proper' set up).

Had a little mishap when i first got the thing and burnt the 0.5ohm coil to a crisp, getting better now though after a new tank of juice, that burnt coil seemed to ruin the taste of the entire tank!

Flavour still isn't amazing but I think thats partly due to the juice being 18mg
I am very new to this kit too but i struggled for a couple of days vaping 6mg and I had beenvaping 16mg through an e roll. This was my first proper set up too and my advice would be drop the nic level to 6 or less. I haven't ventured into vaping at less than 1 ohm (sub ohm) but from what I have read it is not advisable with high nic content juices. Hope it helps, first bit of advice I have given though.

Concerning pushing the power in the Sub Tanks, in my opinion it really has to do with the juice. I put a juice from Twelve in there and it'd fry to a crisp at anything above 13 watts. However, anything that is a bit more dripper-like holds up seemingly well - if it's a Charlie Noble juice for example, it seems to go up to even 35 or 40 watts. I'm not sure about 50 watts as these coils seem a little rubbery tasting if pushed past a certain limit but... if you're not getting over 13-20 watts, it really is something to do with the juice. Dunno what, but it seems to be.

Also, 18mg is extremely overkill for this type of vaping. 3mg is best suited, and even 6mg can be way too harsh. My perfect spot would be about 4.5mg... 3 is a little too soft for me, and 6mg is a little too much.

Has anyone experienced leaking through the air holes? Took it to the pub last night and was having a great time vaping away, walked home and my pocket was pretty juicy by the time i got there. Looking at the design the only i way can see it leaking is through the o ring on the bottom of the head. Annoyed to be honest!

Most likely your leaking issue was caused by temperature change. The air in the tank expands with rise in temp which can push juice out of the tank and into the atty chamber . The juice then migrates out through the air passages.

As long as you vape on it every 5min or so it won't leak in your pocket.:D

temp changes can cause tanks to leak. i know mine will do it sometimes, but i normally keep it in my room which is 68-70 all the time. so when i take it out of my room it gets a tad leaky

Thanks for the tips, will keep the changes in temperature in mind

Just been into the vape shop and spoke to a nice guy, he thinks maybe i was vaping at too low a voltage for the juice i was using (probably because the high nic made it too harsh but a guy in another shop yesterday told me not to go above 9w).

Just got some new .5ohm heads and some high vg 6mg juice and all seems to be well, dry as a bone at the moment. The juice tastes amazing aswell 'Hedons Bite' by NJOY.

Well guys, I finally had an issue. I had a leaky afc. Or so I thought. I tried everything. Rewicked, cleaned the tank, reseated my orings, rewicked again. Still leaked. Was getting a little :-x and my inner redhead was coming out. Then I noticed that the tiny clear oring on the bottom of the rba section was about .25mm off, almost imperceptibly so. Adjusted that, and voila, no more leaks.

At 2:20 Tia puts a BLACK Subtank Mini on a BLACK Wismec Presa...

Looks SWEET (like something from a Modern Art Museum)...

40W Presa by Wismec

QUICK! Hide this video from @ephilbe! ;) I actually like that combo though. And it fires down to .2ohms....that would look good with my black Plume Veil....need another shinitis vaccine.

So I just had an INSANE lack of impulse control this morning and bought an IPV D2 and a Kanger ST Mini. Higher wattage, TC, spring-loaded connector, yada yada, but I did it mostly because it's pretty and all black and my envy/shinyitis is out of control since I've been hanging out here. So yeah, if it sucks, I'm blaming all of you.

Since (for me, as a MTL vaper) the GS Tank is the "perfect" topper...and since TC heads are available for the GS Tank...I, too, have been looking for an "inexpensive" TC Mod.

I've got it narrowed down to the iPV D2 and the TC40W iStick.

They're very close in size and somewhat close in price.

The TC40W has a 2600mAh built-in battery while the iPV D2 uses a replaceable 18650.

Was it the replaceable 18650 that led you to chose the iPV D2...or was it something else???

Black Velocity looks awesome on my Subox but I had to pry up the pin to make contact.
It looks even better on my new IPV3 Li VR <- carbon fiber inserts in front & door 200W OOB
65W dual coil 26g A1 @ .45Ω - amazing how fast dripping chugs ejuice

Subox completely rocks with the black Velocity for out and about but dripping is a PITA

I've been using 4mg DIY since I got my first Subtank.
I'm about to make a jug of 2mg for that juice-hog dripper. 2mg, who woulda thunk it?

Try not filling it too much if you're using the "factory built" coils....may help, I know the 1.5ohm coil leaked bad on mine.
If using the RBA... try to install the coil, install the sleeve, put a screwdriver through the juice hole and align the coil with the hole.
Then install the wick through the hole and coil out the other side. Cut the wick just past even (sticking out) and fluff the ends.
Pre-juice the wick, install the cap, and fill your tank to the line on the stem.
Screw on your tank, wait about 15-30 minutes....NOW you're ready and should have no leaks....this is working great for me so far.....Vape on :vapor:
