From reading some post critiques, I presume there must be some manufacturing inconsistencies going on. Mine has a paint swirl/blemish on top. It's mostly covered by the tank, which I can live with. But conversely, the batt door is tight as a drum. With black, I'll just cover with a sharpie accordingly.

My only complaint is the play in the door. It's not bad but I wish it had the super magnet of busardos video. I'm going to tinker a bit and see if I can get that nice tight snap out of it.

I would venture to say that, with the traction this thread has gained, Kangertech is listening. And listening closely.

Hopefully. Can't get much better market feedback than this. My job is product management and I would kill for forums like this in my industry. It would be so easy to get instant market validation and identify new trends.

Just checked out the kangerforum. They said black and white tanks sold separate from the kit should be coming ASAP if there is market demand (there is). They said they won't be selling the new RBA separately. I am happy with the new prebuilt cool heads though, if I get those in all my tanks I won't need the new RBA for them.

Check Sweet Vapes site. They are showing the new RBA head "coming soon"
Vert coil heads, and separate tanks too.

Although, the way this thing is sucking up the juice, I believe it could be a conspiracy among flavor manufacturers. Lol
Is this your first subohm tank? Once I started subohming instead of vaping on a Nautilus Mini, my juice usage doubled.

Yes and no. Fairly recently picked up a Joyetech Ego One as the game changer. Following a Kangertech Evod Glass and those upgrade vcc coils. I thought those were the come up, but 2015 is a bumper year for vape technology. I am fully prepared for ensuing juice costs. I fully believe its worth it.

I can not imagine not selling the new rba. They sell the old one, wouldn't the new one replace it eventually? Are new Subtank mini's and plus's going to be sold with old rba's or replaced with the current version? That's just ridiculous. I can imagine they'd want to sell out of the out-dated units before shipping replacements.

I do know the black tanks are already taking wholesale orders. I didn't know about the white ones but I'm guessing the individual black tanks will be released before the white. I don't know why they are doing this tiered release with black or white. I haven't noticed near the interest reguarding the actual mod, yet it's a replaceable battery about the size of the 50w istick that can be used for a full range of vaping (high, low wattages - even if flawed) and for a very cheap price (guessimate $30?). There's no competition (yet).

Product trends are interesting and vaping is kind of unique in that it's developed without interference from a lot of outside interests including big money capital.

When I have seen user generated product forums sprout up, oddly, it's the manufacturers that tend to shut them down, usually as an over zealous effort to silence a few dissenting complaints. Sometimes it can't be explained (Ikea-hackers, Sprint-users, Fat Wallet). Fear.

I have my favorites but I have recently started vaping plain nic vg. It has a sweetness that really comes through in the STMini, also helps get over flavor fatigue. It is exponentially cheaper as well.

Where did you order from again? You have gotten two in the time it took the rest of us to get one.

Puremist.co.uk

Also, my drip tip wobbles quite a bit, so annoying when walking and vaping, will probably need to get new o-ring for it or something

Ever since I had bought my friend two Subtank Nanos and she tried the 0.5 ohm coils, her mantra is "once you subohm you can never go back".

Welp sorry for the delay, got distracted last night (with a pretty lady :O )

Loving the Subox kit so far, haven't gotten around to taking any pictures. First off, I got the pre-production unit (no biggie, but I woulda liked that red drip tip). Secondly, these new Subtank coils are the bomb diggity. For reals, they're keeping up really well compared to the previous Subtank coils. Honestly, best sub-ohm heads I've tried.

On top of that, the new Subtank airflow is phenomenal. On tight draw it's GREAT for mouth 2 lung, and on full open draw you can really rip 'er, and the wicks will keep up!

I was able to get through 2 whole tankfuls before deciding to swap out my battery (I haven't drained it till it won't fire yet). I really like the overall weightiness and simplicity of this thing. The menu system is very "KISS" (keep it simple stupid). The limited functionality (no option for presets or crazy settings) is actually to its benefit. You just throw in a battery and you're good to go. And it saves your wattage settings in between being on/off (a few other mods come to mind that don't do this).

I'd recommend this kit to anyone trying to get started in vaping, whether they're looking to blow clouds or not. A+, Kanger knocked this one out of the park.
