so after looking over the tank and comparing it to my other STM, i can find no real difference between them
im not talking about the coils or the RBA, just the tanks themselves.
STM V2 or Plus as some people call them is pretty much the same tank, so there was no real update on that part.
finish and derlin drip tip

Well I mean, you're leaving out the huge difference to the air flow controller. Now you can get a M2L hit quite nicely with the Subtank, with the previous versions it was mostly just airy on every setting.

Not only that, I noticed the o-ring in the AFC is a bit more secure. I had issues with that coming off in the previous SubTank when I'd take the tank apart, it seems like this one is either just jammed in a lot better or maybe secured in with glue or something? Either way, it didn't come off when I took the tank apart.

Agree wholeheartedly with @nyiddle. My thoughts all this time were to keep the tank, dump the mod. But after some real world usage last night, this thing is a keeper. So much smaller than it seems in pictures.

FOR REAL, MAN!

It's TINY. WAY smaller than it looks in the pictures. Glad you're likin' yours too bud! It's a great bedside unit, especially compared to something complicated like an Orchid or other RTA on top of a Sig150.

nope not leaving out anything, i already have the updated AFC on my mini.
Kanger started using that style AFC on the mini after they made the subtank plus

now compared to the V1 STM yes the AFC is a lot different, but its the same AFC as the V2

What batt were you using? Did you watch the q-tip tank fill method vid I posted a ways back. With this method, you can stuff 5+ ml in it.

I missed that, I've been using an LG HE2 (it's red so it matches without the sticker).

Ah I didn't realize you were comparing the V2 Subtank Mini with the.. V2.. Subtank Mini? What are we calling this thing?

My only complaint is the play in the door. It's not bad but I wish it had the super magnet of busardos video. I'm going to tinker a bit and see if I can get that nice tight snap out of it.

I agree. The battery door on the black is a little too easy to move arnd. For me, its not so much as it popping out but it has a small 2 mm play. It moves up and down. VERY little but nonetheless, its happening.

This thing deceptively small. The pictures did not communicate just how small this thing is. Loving the Subox.

On that note, one thing I noticed, the 510 for the drip tip is very "shallow", so some of my drip tips don't fit snugly in, they kind of have a gap. Could be fixed by sanding down the delrin on the tip, but whatever, too much effort. Just gonna use the stock tip for now.

I'm also a fan of small/no logos. Was concerned about the red side one. But in real life, it's much more subdued

The actual logo is VERy subdued and I think it will dull even more with regular use. Do your battery door move at all? So when you grip it and move your fingers a little, does the door move?

My wife still smokes, it is getting hard to convince her vaping saves money.
My husband had a year of vaping under his belt. He never got into it (hobby, shinitis) like I did. I left to see my parents for a week last summer and came home to a smoker again. He tried vaping again for a few weeks while smoking but the urge to quit is not there :( I think if he is allowed $6-$12 a day on smokes, I can buy my vape gear and he better not complain cuz on the regular, I STILL spend less than he does!

That still isn't setting ok with me. Everything I own must be able to survive the dreaded purse, which includes being taken in and out constantly as well as bumping into other stuff. Any finish should withstand at least 24 hours without a mark or trauma (like being dropped). Black may not be a huge issue (for you guys) but for white? Yea, it's big. I'm going to do some manufacturers warrenty research. It might not be so big if covered and can get a replacement in 3 months.
Please let this purse carrier know what you find out as far as warranty for these guys! Tia!

@hashtag , I believe it is the way the magnet is set in the mod, is making this thing move. I am sure the magnets or doors by themself wont be different from one subox to another since pretty much everyone has a pre production version. @ephilbe , can you take a close up picture of all 4 magnet locations? I am sure a visual comparison would be helpful here :)

So I am thinking, first rub off that adhesive material on the TOP of the magnet. That seems like a good start. But I am not sure if that adhesive is holding the magnet in place...

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the 1.5 (or 1.2?) ohm coil isn't gonna come out of the box. Never used my Ego One 1.0's, either.
When I got my first Subtank, I started using the 1.2 ohm coil. After that gave out, I tried the 0.5 ohm and haven't used any 1.2 ohm coils since. I gave all my spare 1.2 ohm coils to my friend and now she doesn't want them either. LOL. I'm meeting up with her this weekend and will be giving her a package of 0.5 ohm coils as well as a Coolfire 4 I bought her as a gift.

When she first started vaping, she said she could never see herself holding a "drill" (she says my box mods looks like holding a power tool) and now she is getting her first "drill".

I had heard that there was v1 and v2 air flow controllers but never noticed. I have two Subtank Minis and I think one is the v1 and the other is the v2. One of my Subtank Mini's air flow controller has closed, one hole, two hole, and wide open. The other one has small one hole, one hole, two hole and wide open. I still prefer doing lung hits with the air flow wide open. If I close it down below the two hole, the vape just gets way too warm for me.
