The only problem with this is I'd never want to juice it. It's too pretty.

Also gonna cross post something here. I got to beta test a tank that isn't on the market yet and I did a review of it here and on reddit. The company was kind of impressed with this particular thread and may be sending me a beta tester mod in about 2 months. I would be honored if you guys would check it out. Maybe give me some pointers on things I may have missed.

I read something awhile back that the Eleaf iStick 50W fires might have been attributed to the spring loaded 510 and leaky tanks.
Ya I'm not too sure but I know my mpt leaks ever so slightly and just made me paranoid that it was pushed down into the unit and could possibly leak into the mod. I just use my subtanks on the ipv mini now just because of that. mpts are just for the provari which is nice becase that connection is air tight. Worked out pretty good.

I have to say I am kicking myself in the ... for getting an ipv mini 2. Don't get me wrong it's a great little mod but damn the subox is such a great deal and I like the looks of it much better. Oh and that magnetic battery damn that's nice. Just amazes me how much cheaper this stuff is now. I wonder what a kit like the subox would have cost even a year ago? 100? 150?

I thought I was a juicy button problem...o_O maybe we should just stick with Kangers

That's what I've done. Spent way too much money on way too many tanks. In the end, the Subtank fits my needs the best. It would be nice if every tank worked perfectly with every mod, but right now that's not the case.

Funny you say that, I was just about to order a ipv mini 2, when blivey (bless her heart) started this thread. Perfect timing.

I think this will be my next build

my next build might be a staple staggered fused clapton

i can tell you it's a lot of poor design, my gf's istick 50 decided it wanted to auto fire randomly and eventually the button stopped working. i took it apart one time to try and clean it, thinking it was dirty or had juice in it. seemed ok, put it back together then it got worse later. so i took it apart again and checked it out closely, the button doesn't contact the board's button that well and it has some odd insulator that seems to be the issue. i glued some kanthal wire to the back of the button to make better contact with the board's button, and it hasn't failed since

I saw the Rip Trippers video and those fused and staggered claptons seem to wick the eliquid like a champ. The cotton seems to be a backup reservoir of juice in the cotton-> wick-> eliquid ratio.

Ya I've never cared much for those fancy builds but after watching that video and seeing how the coil basically wicks juice definitely sparked my interest.
