yeah, its supposed to be a crazy wicking flavor junkie dream coil, so i wanna try it LOL
just gotta get all the wire and stuff for it, and some free time...... anyone know where the free time store is, i need to buy some? LOL

but ill probably attempt this build in the next few weeks after i source out everything

with the staggered you would use 2 and then unwind 1 then bring your last wide coil if that makes any sense.

Looks to me like the rebuild will be the same as how I do the other occ's...i never removed the press fitted top, I go through the top hole

Wow I haven't gotten that skilled on The OCCs just yet;) I have to pull the head apart everytime. But I try to build big coils inside there. Parallel coils work great. I even drilled the juice holes to 3mm on an occ. Worx great with the right wicking.
I'm excited to see how they did the vert coil.
I am awaiting my subox shipment still but saw the shipping notification yesterday!!!!! Maybe next week sometime. Very anxious. Of course, I have a fast tech and a focal cig order coming around the same time. Couldn't holdout for the length of the preorder;)

Ya I've never cared much for those fancy builds but after watching that video and seeing how the coil basically wicks juice definitely sparked my interest.

You know there are proffessional coil builders. There's several where I live. They charge $5 to $20 per build depending on the complexity. I might have a few shots, but dang, it's like vaping jewely. Oh yea, most do vaper's jewelry too. Intimidating.

I hate my internet. It's not going to let me upload pics again tonight. gggrrrrr.

This would be the perfect job for me.

These sure are cool but I wish they would incorporate some way to be able to view how much juice you have left if possible. Even just a small glass window at the very bottom to see if you're getting empty. Don't know how hard that would be or if even possible though....

I just got my white Subox and it looks pretty nice with the white and black color scheme, I think I'll keep it like this for now. The battery cover is nice and tight with a uniform seam all around. I've already appropriated the spare white drip tip for the Mini that I have sitting on my evic-VT. I put in an Orbtronics SX30 so I didn't need to use the black sticker on the battery. A couple of minor complaints. My LCD screen is slightly tilted and when I push the fire button, there is a slight lag (maybe a half to one second) before I hear the distinct sizzle of vaporizing juice. The buttons do feel a little cheap, and the fire button is a little on the small side and there is a bit of travel to it, so you have to give it a firm press otherwise it won't fire. The small size of the mod makes it a bit harder to get a firm grip on it, much like it was with my old iStick 30. I am loving these new vertical OCC's with the larger wick holes though. There is a considerable variation to the resistance though, the 0.5 ohm coil registers as 0.68 ohms on my ohm meter.
