Close enough. I like to pick at the cotton seed chips in the KGD, it's a OCD thing. :w00t:
I could always hit one of the fields around my town and get you the most unprocessed cotton you've ever seen. You'll just have to de seed it. Not that I've actually considered it. *whistles nonchalantly*

A while back I got some organic Egyptian cotton called Drago from HooVape. Arguably, Egypt grows some of the best cotton in the world, often used in towels due to it's ability to absorb liquid very fast and efficiently. It's a little tricky to work with, but it's definitely organic. It has the slightest hint of a gray color, with not only seed shell chips, but also a random twig or leaf bit. It vapes great and seems to be naturally heat resistant. It was a challenge wicking with Drago on the old RBA, but with the new RBA and the giant juice holes, it might work better. I think I'll give it another try. Thanks for the unintended suggestion.

I know a lot of factors play into this but I was wondering what batteries people are using on this and about how long they are lasting?

I am running the .5 coil, 26 watts, and go through about one tank before I am down to one bar left on the battery meter. It takes me about 13 or so hours to go through a tank. I leave the Subox on most of the time as well. I have some Efest 2800 batteries in there now and it seems like they should be lasting longer. I just ordered some 25r's in hopes that they will be able to comfortably get me through a full day of vaping. Thanks!

Kanger is doing a huge giveaway for videos of people using the Subtank mini on a Kanger battery.

I'm using an Orbtronics SX30 battery. The battery life in the Subox sucks....to put it bluntly. It basically only uses a little over half of your battery's capacity because once the voltage drops below 3.6 volts, the mod stops working and you get the low battery warning.

Efest batteries are crap. Get good batteries. Sony or Samsung IMO.
The 25r's, if your talking about Samsung, should be good.

I'm using Sony batteries, I'm happy with the mod limiting drain, carry spares is a simple fix.

    3.6V cutoff? Ouch...
That's going to limit things to only the few cells that have a very good voltage under load. They probably did that to help increase the cycle life of the cell? A mistake IMO. Dropping the cutoff to, let's say, 3.2V would have little effect on that but would hugely increase the amount time before you have to recharge.

I'm using the Samsung 25R and it lasts all day. One of the best batteries I've ever used for vaping.

    Maybe

    But i doubt it

I doubt the instant it hits 3.6 it's going to cut off.

Probably will allow for some sag at higher settings.

The mini I ordered states 20+ amp cells only.
