i`m going by the printing on the heads and the top one looks like the older horizontal coils and the bottom one is the newer vertical coil. if you are getting burnt hits lower the wattage a lil.
Done. Unfortunately it doesn't cover the high wear areas like the edges, so the bare metal is still showing in some areas. Install was easy. Cleaned with alcohol, wiped a few times with a dry rag, applied the precuts.
You will need a steady hand and follow the lines of the mod. I had to cut out the portion of sticker that was directly under the tank as its thickness was causing my tank not to connect with the 510.

It matches my VTC batteries green perfectly. Now I need to paint the buttons.
The texture is semi slick, I feel like it added a little grip, which is good. The spare tank precut i ordered matches in color, but the flame pattern is much more dense so it won't match the overall pattern of the mod. I'll probably wrap my spare stainless tank ( @cindycated ) and see how it looks with the clear glass.
Only negatives are the edges of the precuts. You can feel them and ultimately I feel like they will start catching and peel. Time will tell. For 8.00 ,free shipping, and they arrived in a timely fashion it's a win.
They are both vertical. Did you even read my post?
Thanks man.Looks awesome
Oops, scratch what I just said...![]()
A store had the Nano and posted a pic in black, but it was a trick.
There is a black version. I guess they realized that pink and purple may not fit every style. I wish they would release a full stainless mini.Oops, scratch what I just said...![]()

I agree, but I'm afraid quality would go south like anything you try to produce to quickly. Maybe there's a reason they went fixed pin?Agreed.
All Kanger needs to do is release spring-loaded Subox kits in a variety of colors (ss, red, black, white) and they'll continue to sell out. They're sitting on a winner and wasting valuable time.

Probably space constraints. It takes a tiny bit more room to integrate the springy thingy.
Any news on the Kbox Mini going on sale? Thanks
this is probably why.
IPV Mini has a spring loaded 510, but its almost 1/2" taller as well
That's because it's missing 4mm of awesome. The iPV D2 has a spring loaded 510 and is 4mm shorter than the KBOX Mini...

Thank you! I guess those years in the 80s collecting stickers and plastering them all over payed off. It's not perfect, but close enough.Grewat work, that looks really nice. I'll be honest that is one of the best jobs applying a skin to that device I've seen.
