Hi all. New to this forum. Been vaping for over two years. I started out with Blu and switched to a 510 rechargeable battery system about a year or so ago. About six months ago, I switched to a tank with a cartomizer. Cartomizers frustrated me due to having to be primed and we often got bad cartos that would never taste good. About four months ago, switched to the Trophy Tank by Smok which uses the bottom coil atomizers. About a month or so ago, I bought my first Lavatube, which is the more recent LT available. Bought an extra battery to go with it. Was using 2.4 ohm atomizers with my old battery system and switched to 3.0 ohm atomizers with the new LT system. Not sure what the mixture of juice is that we use, but I use the same type of juice from the same vape place almost 100% of the time. Here's my dilemma.
Two weeks ago, I went to buy some new 3.0 atomizers from my vape place (an atomizer lasts me about a week or more). My vape place was out, and so was I, so they gave me some 2.4 atomizers. I realized that I could not vape as high as I was ... I was vaping at around 8.5 to 9 watts (I feel I get better vape on watts than on volts). With the 2.4 atomizers, I checked the chart and tried to not go above 7.0 to 7.5 watts.
I then ordered some 3.0 and 4.0 ohm atomizers from Madvapes, along with a Trophy Tank 2 (to have as a spare or for a different ejuice flavor). My vape shop still doesn't have any 3.0 ohm atomizers in at all but they are expecting a shipment today or tomorrow.
Here's my problem. And this is the same whether my battery is full charge or barely drained:
At 3.0 ohm with the atomizers I purchased locally, I was able to vape and get good vape at around 8 to 8.5 watts. Atomizers would last me about a week or so. With the ones I purchased from Madvapes, the 3.0 (which should be the same as what I have purchased locally) just DOES NOT vape well at all! I feel like I'm sucking air. I replaced the atomizer last night, let it sit upright for about ten to fifteen minutes, and it vaped ok, but not like I'm used to. I like a LOT of vape!!! I feel like I'm drawing on air ... I tried the 4.0 ohm atomizers that I bought online and those are no better (in fact, the Lavatube won't even recognize it as a 4.0, it only goes to 3.1 ohms).
What the heck am I doing wrong here??? I taking a nice slow drag (if you will) ... like I said, I've been vaping for over two years so I know HOW to vape ... but I'm really getting frustrated ... any advice would be extremely helpful.
