New member here wanting to give up the smoking habit and turn to vaping. So now after many days spent on this forum, reading about e-cigs, I think I finally made up my mind on what I should get. Now I just want to get some input on whether this kit will be good/decent set up for a first time user.
This is the kit that I would like to get:
Ultimate Genuine Joyetech eGo-C Twist Starter Kit & 3X10ml bottles of e-liquid.

Welcome to ECF LilLion! I've seen that kit at CanVape before and thought it is just about the ultimate starter kit on the market anywhere for someone who wants to explore some great hardware options. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with it.

Having said that, keep in mind that every piece of e-cig hardware has it's own learning curve and little tricks that make it perform better and for longer. Best of luck with it and hope it's not too cold out west tonight :2cool:

Hi - That's an excellant kit if you can afford it. It should keep you happy for quite a while. I choked when I saw the price, but then I read all of the goodies it comes with and it might not be too much on the high side (especially if you factor in the time visiting vendor sites looking for prices and adding shipping for each order). You don't need to get all of those devices at first, but if you can afford it, why not?

I'd go for Eliquidlabs for choice of refill flavours, they have a good selection and the prices are good, especially when you order the larger size bottles, the 100ml bottle is half the price of buying 3 x 30ml bottles. But worth trying the smaller sizes first to find out which flavour suits you. Vanilla is delicious, not too sweet, almost like a super smooth pipe tobacco in a way, very tasty indeed.

There is no magic bullet to stop smoking; you have to want to stop. Vaping is not a quite smoking device though almost everyone who has used them have quite or reduced smoking with very little effort.
Before I would spend over $100.00 I would look around for evic, it’s one of the newer devices for this year.
My suggestions for newbie’s are invest $30.00 - $ 50.00 on an ego setup, this unit could be used as a backup device or used when going outside. Hardest part is going to find a juice you like to use. If you stick with vaping most likely you will be mixing your own juices and save lots of money doing it.
I have seen the evic that comes with everything you would need for as little as $72.00 (comes with no juice)

    Welcome to the community.

I got the Ego-T starter kit and have been super happy with it! The "instruction manual" that came with it sucks, but I've been using youtube to learn about it.
My chain smoking brother-in-law got the twist....he also chain vapes and loves it! I think he got the 650 battery. I got the 1000mah. It's quite long, but I can go 2-3 days before it dies and I vape A LOT!!

It's a great kit and what people have to understand is prices are MUCH higher here in Canada. My only suggestion if the OP is buying the 1000 mah Twist to switch to the 1300 Spinners. Same size and a wide knurled dial/ easy to turn and markings easy to see.

Realize with that kit is free shipping.
    Best of Luck.

Thanks guys for the replies! Now after reading some posts, I am now thinking about the Joytech eVic kit.
    https://www.canvape.com/product-p/evickit.htm
The one draw back that might be holding me back from the eVic is it looks like it might be a little slippery to hold? That's one thing I like about the twist was for the rubberized grib feel it has. (So I've read)

That seems a little pricey, I got the same setup for like $85 with the 1000mAh. discountvapers.com has a set for $45 but its not joyetech its their own brand, but from what I heard discount vapers is a reputable company so I wouldn't think it would be bad. Most people end up upgrading within a few months anyways, so I don't think spending over $100 on an ego is justified.
