I know I'm a new member here, and I can only post to new member forums and this should probably go somewhere else but I thought some users might like this new method for refilling cartomizers.

I've been refilling carts for about a month now and found a different way to refill carts with little mess and minimum juice loss. It is very similar to using the condom method (from the battery connection side) without the cleanup or mess.

Tools required:
Syringe
Blunt tip 17 gauge needle (white) (Must be exact size to fit hole, maybe different for other cartomizers)

Directions:
1. Fill syringe with juice. Don't worry about the amount. Any overflow will be recovered.
2. Remove the cartomizer cap. This is so you can see when to stop filling.
3. Insert needle into the battery end of the cartomizer.
4. Hold the cartomizer vertical above the syringe.
5. Slowly fill the cartomizer until juice is pooling on the top of the polyfill.
6. Pull back on the syringe to recover extra juice and clear the center tube.
7. Repeat if necessary.
8. Clean bottom battery connection (usually not required)

Just wanted to know if anyone else has tried this. I've been looking for a simple method that isn't messy and saves every last drop. I thought of this method when I flooded the center tube and realized the needle fit perfectly in the hole and sucked the juice right out - instead of blowing through the cart into a paper towel and then having to clean the battery connection.

If anyone tries this let me know how it works for you.

Here are a couple of pics to show how this works. Also a shot of the battery end and needle to show why there is no leakage or juice loss.

Hi Wolfie. Welcome to ECF. I use occasionally a similar method. I slip the needle down the side of the carto between the filler and the metal, keep the bottom condom on the thread end and i only add 1mL of liquid. That way it looks spongy wet and theres no messy cleanup. Good work. Happy Vaping.

doing this way..if U push in yr needle be careful as U likely to dislodge the filler and can cause the filler to bunched up..if that happens yr carto is ruining..better way to refill, Iusedtoanalog said..regards mafig

Hi Wolfie & Welcome! Interesting concept but I wonder, how far will the needle go into this particular carto? I'm thinking if it can be freely inserted, unblocked, all the way in it could very likely damage the coil. If that's the case this could be easily avoided by cutting the needle's length so that when fully inserted it would still fall short of contacting the coil. Thanks for the information... looks like something I'll have to play with. Happy Vaping! :)
