The Provari is a very well made regulated mod. It may not be a fit for everyone. But if you're looking for a basic, no thrills mod that will be predictably dependable, consistant, reliable, durable, and repairable then the Provari might be for you.
It doesn't have a puff counter and can't be connected to your computer to monitor your vaping habits. It doesn't have a fancy looking OLED display, but the LED it has is practical and durable.
It doesn't have variable wattage, but if you choose wisely to purchase the same resistance (ohm rating) for your juice attachments you don't need it.
It only has one button to change through modes (voltage up, voltage down, battery voltage meter, ohm meter); 10 minutes going through the exercise and you'll have it down pat.
Variable wattage is for those people who have multiple juice devices of different ohms. Say you know you like to vape at 8 watts. You set your wattage on the mod for that range, and no matter the ohm of the juice device, the processor will make adjustments so that you get 8 watts of vapor with that juice device. It's just another way to get to the same place.
Most Provari owners decided they don't need variable wattage, as they can get to the same spot using variable voltage. Got a 2 ohm heating coil? Just add the number 2. (2 ohm + 2 = 4 volts) Adjust your Provari's voltage up or down. Simple. The Provari has a built-in ohm reader, so the above calculation is easy to do if you don't remember its resistance.
Unlike any of the Chinese made mods, Provape will repair your Provari for as long as you own it. No China manufacturer can or ever will do that. "We build cheap. Sell cheap. It breaks you buy another."
Cruise through the various mod specialty forums here on ECF and see how well owners like their mods. Provari owners rarely talk about problems with a Provari. They're discussing music, holsters, beauty rings, what's topping their Provari, etc. You'll likely find something entirely different on the other sub-forums.

I own two Provari's, standard and a mini. I've also got several other mods, regulated and mechanical. I use the Provari's 95% of the time.
When you buy a Provari, you are buying peace of mind.
