This is a new review of the New Tekkeon mod that is currently being built by chev327fox. He will be selling them thru Clouds of Vapor. Chev is currently awaiting his manufacture supplier status and thats one reason they arent for sale right at this time.
Now..on to this mod. I had been admiring it from afar when Brandon first unveiled it , i Thought it looks so classy so sleek so sexy looking
And..now i finally have one in my hands !!

When i first saw it..i thought...that's a little big...but it's smaller than I thought it was. It fits perfectly in my hand..and it has gray rubbery sides that are perfect for " the grip" on the mod. It sits nicely in my hand without the fear of me dropping it...and me being clumsy...well, enough said. I love the size of the Tekkeon.
Now....This thing packs a punch. It's one of the stronger 5v devices I've tried. I'm currently using the 510 cartomizers on it and it is a vaping machine to say the least.
This mod holds 2 x 18650 Samsung batteries that are protected by the circuitry in the device. It is also protected even if an atty or cart shorts out. If there is a "short" then the Tekkeon will shut down and you need to reset it by pluging in the charger cable for only second or so. I've been vaping heavily on this thing and havent had to do that so far.
The batteries are 4,000 mAh together and I've charged it once when i got it, and I've been waiting to see how long it will go...it's still going strong after 2 days of hard vaping...so we shall see. I'll update this when i have to charge it It has an internal charger so all you have to do is plug the USB into it to charge it. These batteries should last around a year or two, and when they do need to be replaced, you can send it over to Bigbuyer at Clouds of Vapor to have them replaced...or, if you know how to solder...you can get instructions from them on how to replace the batteries.
The Tekkeon Mod comes with a standard 510 atty connection....use attys or cartomziers...or an adapter to use whatever you prefer. It is completely dripper friendly, the atty connection is completely sealed so no danger of juice getting down into the device.
This Tekkeon comes with the mod itself, an instruction manuel ( yay) a charging package that includes cable and several adaptors that you can even charge your phone or something else with. It also comes with a black velvet carrying case Nice !
Ok....now lets get down to the dirty with this mod. This thing is approx 3 1/2 inches tall , under an inch wide....its curved to fit your hand perfectly. I love those gray gripper sides I told you about up there. The push button is big which i love and is on the back side of the device. On the front, there is an on / off switch that when on ..shows a green light when it is charged. When that light goes orange....its still at 30% charged, so that is a pre indication that it will need to be charged sometime in the near future. So far, only green lights for me
I need to explain the charging lights : Ok The red light is 30% and yellow is 65%-31% and green is 100%-66%. Soo....it doesnt need to be charged until it turns Red
This thing feels and looks expensive....it's sleek...it's very eye friendly. It looks like the eye candy of mod's. Honestly ! It does. This is the Star Trek of mods that I've seen. It even looks like something someone on Star Trek would carry around
Honestly ? I love it. I really really really love it. It vapes like a beast...It's Wicked ! And....i love the looks of it. It's definately the Sean Connery of the vaping world. It's classy, confident...and beautiful.
Ok..more to follow... I will continue to add on to this thread to let you guys know how it's doing.
So far...loving it.
Someone would have to knock me in the head to take it away from me at this point.
Oh... Not sure of the price of these mod's as yet...But i think they will be in the $100 to 130 price range When they go up for sale.
This is the place that will carry them and you might want to pm or contact Bigbuyer to maybe see if he can slip one back for you before they're released
