Got my new mini today
Experimenting with Carto's and atomizers

My short carto works fine good vape easy draw.

With a atomizer and long carto (Smok Tech 510 1.7 ohm) I have to suck really hard and get hardly any vapor just hot juice

The catch cup is pleanty wet

Could it be because the atomizer is bridgeless?

What am I doing wrong?

I don't use atomizers, but with a carto the catch cup should be dry, sounds like you may be flooding it. I'm sure someone else will be along who has experience with atomizers.

Sounds like your flooded too much juice take the carto off use a tissue and dry out catch cup and blow the carto out into the tissue Now give it a shot hope that solves it for you

The catch cup should be dry with both cartos (especially) and attys. If you have juice in the catch cup, it's likely you're flooding your atty/carto. With either of them, take it off, wipe it off and wipe out the catch cup. Esp. pay attention to the connection well and sop that out. Then blow out the atty and/or carto (hold a tissue to the connection end) and start over. Put your carto or your atty back on and vape.

When you squonk the juice up into the cartomizer, you should never see juice in the catch cup. When you squonk juice up into the atomizer, look down into the catch cup and when you see the first sign of juice coming through the four little holes at the side of the atty, stop.

There is a technique called blind squonking, but I'll let someone else tell you about it because others can certainly explain it better than I can.
