I was also very disappointed and frustrated when I got my new Reo a few days ago.

If you still feel like you're not getting enough vapor/flavor, try something like this.
One piece of Ekowool through the coils, one piece of rolled cotton between the coils, though cotton for both would work just as well.
All in all, this set-up (which I'm using now) produces the best flavor I've experienced, and produces more vapor and bigger clouds than my genesis style attys. It's running at 0.6ohms. I would recommend 0.6 over 0.4 as I suggested in the above link.
The coil is 28G Kanthal wire wrapped 9 times each around a 2mm screwdriver, about the same as a 5/64 drill bit.
I also have my air hole drilled out to 1/8" to compensate for the low resistance, if you didn't click the above link.
