Most important thing to order right now is Deoxit gold!!! Put a drop every so often on top of the positive contact on the battery.

You need this so there's no arching to your gold contact!

Clean the contacts good with a qtip and rubing alcohol. And your battery tops.

Arching will cause pitting on the contacts and eventually no contact to where your always spinning your battery trying to get a connection.

Flavor chaser.. you want small atty and smallish air hole.

Don't have Deoxit. Would Noalox do?

Yes, Noalox will do.....it's just a little messier. The Deoxit Gold is magic for these new gold firing pins and springs. Both will work.....

Welcome to REOville! Get ready to be blown away. :)

Yes but it's messy and a pain to clean ip to re apply.Fine for now till you get the good stuff.

Amazon.com: DeoxITGOLD Liquid, Brush Applicator - Metal Contact Enhancer, Conditioner, and Protector: Electronics

Or

Caig DeoxIT GOLD Pen, 6 mL, Contact Enhancer / Conditioner - - Amazon.com

Or

Amazon.com: DeoxITGOLD Liquid, squeeze tube 100% solution 2 ml - G100L-2C: Electronics

Any will last you a lifetime on the reo hehe. Personally I like the brush for the woodvil. The pen will work on metal reos.. the tube I have not used but others do.

Ladies and Gents...it's here..the Reo has landed in Cairo, Egypt. And I have to say it's a divine vape!!! The cyclone came already coiled with a dual coil @ 0.7 ohms and with this build I tried some Butterscotch & Banana Cream with 6 mg nic and it's just fine!!! Such a beautiful and fulfilling vape. I dabbed the battery poles and contacts with noalox, made a Scottish roll wick and WOW!! What was a meh juice is now an excellent vape!

Huzzah! Congrats on the arrival :toast:

Classic looking setup, that. Nice.

I suppose we can let you in on the whole secret now... you're ruined for other vapes as of this moment. Kiss the tanks goodbye. Put the drippers away. It's over. Squonking is now your thing.

We can help with the pang of guilt that may follow.

Sweet combo! How nice of them to leave her all coiled up so you can taste if working great right off the bat!

Yeah sweat counter as well!

The previous owner, @rudedog, is a really nice guy..I'm really glad I ran into him.

I fully concur..suddenly I lost interest in the rest of my arsenal..and it is a darn good arsenal I have to say..but this vape is something else! My wife tried a couple of puffs and she was amazed...I know I will buy her a Reo with my next purchase

I know you're asking jifjifjif, but I will recommend either the RM2 or (depending on how much price counts) the Chalice III. They're both single-coil flavor machines. My two favorites.

Actually I didn't mean for my question to be directed solely to jifjifjif. I was thinking about it when I read his post so I thought I'd make the enquiry. So thank you :) you're the second person to recommend a RM2. The chalice might have to wait a bit. It will ruin my vape budget for this month. Unless one makes it to the classies at a decent price point. Does the RM2 have AFC?

No, it doesn't. But it's an awesome little atty --- it's really easy to coil because it has a nice big ceramic deck. It's side air and many of us have reamed the airhole out a little. It's just a super little flavor-maker that almost everybody has at least one of, I think. Search this forum for RM2 threads and you'll see how popular they are. I love them.

Welcome! Yep, your search for the best is over! Now you just get to fine tune. I 2nd, 3rd, etc the RM2 for flavor. Try one and if it is too tight of a draw, just ream it a smidge, etc. If you get hooked on duals, the RM3 might be a flavorful option. I've also heard great stuff about the O-16 but don't have personal experience. It's the little attys that give the best flavor for us flavor chasers.

Great picture! Yes, it does look like you've tried some other good devices. They look similar to my old list before I turned myself into Reoville full-time and the search stopped .

Might want to put your name on he Reo Roll Call thread. Don't know if we have too many other Reo kin in Eqypt....yet.

Oh.. and since it's made out of brass, it's easy to bore out the air hole by hand. You can just hold a drill bit with your fingers. Don't go chancing it with a drill or dremel as its real easy to go too far. No fixing a hole that's too big. So try the next size bit and test it before going any larger.

There is one other Reo listed in Egypt. Not sure if the owner is Egyptian though. We have a big expat community

Yes..seems there is a consensus on the RM 2. So I will definitely grab a couple along with my next purchase. It's a relief that I can bore out the hole by hand. I don't have a drill or a dermel, and I prefer the tight draw in general.

The Cyclone AFC is doing a splendid job by the way when it comes to flavor..really impressed with this little thing.

One observation that I have so far is that this setup that I have goes through liquid like crazy. It could be that I'm happy with my new toy or maybe because I don't drip that much though.
