Today Margaret Hamburg head of the FDA released the findings of a recent study that proved that living causes dying in an astounding 100% of the cases studied. As a result, Mrs. Hamburg is calling for strict regulations or even an all out ban on living in an effort to protect young people from dying. She was quoted as saying "Death is a tragedy that we just cannot tolerate in our society and we will do everything in our power to make sure this never happens to anyone else. Even if that means banning living all together."

Nah, they'll just restrict us from doing any living in public places in order to protect the poor children from exposure to any second hand living. If they banned it outright, they would loose too much in tax revenue.

I wish I could "love" these instead of just "like"

I admit it, the OP made me laugh. :D

Dying DOES in fact suck and although I may be in the minority here, I'm all for banning it. Well, except for when the person is really, really, really mean. Like those old ladies who keep all the balls that bounce into their yards and don't give out candy on Halloween? Those dudes can go.

I've read some cities that are " pro-living" are going to have designated "living" areas, where people can enjoy living with others that enjoy living also. And people who don't want to live aren't bothered by people enjoying living.

OMG you guys are killin' me, LOL.

If she's so anti-death I think she needs to follow Mr. Bill Hicks' advice...
If you're so pro-life, do me a favour: don't lock arms and block medical clinics. If you're so pro-life, lock arms and block cemeteries and show us how committed you really are.

I know, right? I mean, a person wants to live, that's his or her concern. But s/he should do it in private...AWAY from the children.

I'll tell you this much, I catch anybody living within 50 feet of my children and imma bust some skulls. Not MY kids!

Oh, Robin... Robin... Robin... Have you never seen the Big Lebowski?

What a poor, sheltered child you are (if not).

Can't say that my education included the Big Lebowski. I may have to look it up.....or not. Just that silent video....it is hurting my eyes. It does not make me want to see it :p

Personally, I think Ms. Hamburg is on to something. And I, for one, believe Congress should immediately take up an Omnibus Bad Things Bill. A bill that will outlaw all Bad Things from happening in the US in perpetuity. If we just get busy and ban these "happenings of bad things" in general, we won't have to keep doing it piece meal the way we've been doing all these years.

In support of the life ban, a number of large pharmaceutical companies have donated resources and staff time to encapsulate air, the breathing of which can encourage life. For those with permission to engage in living, portable air devices will be available at most gas stations and convenience stores.

Internet sales will be banned as they make it too easy for children to acquire these devices, which studies show are a stepping stone to long term air dependency.
