I read that the version of the VUSE that RJ Reynolds is doing a PMTA with the FDA has an RFID Chip in that so retailers can Disable it within 50' of their Store.

Kinda like how the wheel on a Shopping Cart only in Reverse.

But then again, I read this on Reddit. So it might Not be True.
:confused::eek::shock:
You may have read it on reddit. I am going with the not true part.
However, now that the cat is out of the bag we'll know who to blame.:p

I'm Not Worried even if they do.

I'm already working on a Lead Lined Sleeve so people can get their Fix inside Wal-Mart.

Whether its good for you or not is beside the point. Your choice to vape is a personal one, and doesn't mean you get to decide for those around you on their behalf. If you can find a way to vape without exposing anyone else but yourself, then go for it. But so long as it might involve other people, some considerations seem reasonable.
When you talk about exposing other people, do you mean the idea, or the actual exposure to them of what you're exhaling?

Now, this wasn't a clinical study, it was a preliminary study of only six people, 3 vapers and 3 non vapers, but they used a stable isotope of PG so that they could measure exactly what exposure came from the vapor. What they found was that the levels of PG from the vapor in the bystanders was 5,000 times less than that of the vapers. Nearly undetectable. Starts on page 502 of the transcript(page 227 of the pdf). http://www.fda.gov/downloads/TobaccoProducts/NewsEvents/UCM466442.pdf

Have you given any thought to the idea that what we exhale is actually LESS harmful to bystanders than normal breath? Because I assure you I can make a very convincing argument that it is not only less harmful, but quite possibly GOOD for them.
Cod liver oil is good for me, so my mother said..

Yea, it's all on the tootie puffies. They walk around Walmart with their stealth little tootie puffies, Chuffin their lil clouds and thinking nobody is watching...
I can hear the concerned mom's now: I was shopping with my daughter, buying her favorite cereal, and this man who was obviously smoking one of those electronic cigarettes was puffing away in the aisle. The scary part was, when he exhaled, I couldn't see any smoke! Now they're making them so you can't even see the smoke! How am I supposed to avoid exposing my precious child to the poisons this guy is blowing everywhere if I can't even see it!

Oh yeah. That was a joke, but it's one of those jokes that makes you have a little nervous laugh, because it's at the same time ridiculous and entirely plausible.

The only time I vape inside is at my own home and a friend's home if they will allow it. It's annoying to do, But I ask if I can Vape inside other places including bars. If they have a smoking section I'll often just go there and do it. Otherwise you ask and worse they say is no. In which case you just step outside. I dont think it's that bad. I don't feel the "need" to vape. More so just want to. It's like yeah I wish it was legal to walk down the street with a beer. Its not. Something I wanna do sometimes but I certainly don't need to lol. Ill just go to my house or a bar.

Common sense! :)

I won't even go sit in a Smoking section. I Quit for a reason. I will not intrude and will not suffer for it. I can wait, choose another place or just stay home.
Having always been bothered by Perfumes and colones, I can understand some people complaining in certain places and do not feel the need to push wills. I Auto win as I can avoid conflict and they cannot. :D
As for never Vaping inside..............well, catch me if you can. If you can't you have no business commenting.:pervy:

I'm a "cloud chaser" of sorts now. It's how I vape or I don't at all. Thats why it's different for me. So yeah generally I just don't do it inside public areas. Other than the Vape shop. Me and my friend felt awkward. We walked up to a Vape kiosk in the mall. And were thinking. Wait. Can we Vape here? Just feels wrong. Once again not a big deal for me. As always YMMV. I'm OK with going to the smoking section. But you are right. Second hand smoke isn't so great

Businesses value consumers giving them money.

And I am quite sure that way less than 15% of Walmart customers vape. So they probably want to make their other 85% customer base happy.

I was in casino after horse races last week, of course they allow smoking and vaping, but one gal had one of those newer devices everyone is using now, and when she blew out, it LITERALLY threw a cloud over the screen so big that the person next to her could not even see their game!

I watched her do it to a few different people. Finally, security came over and asked her to vape in the aisles or something or go outside, because the clouds were kinda big and literally cutting down on other people's enjoyment of their games.

I'm not kidding you, on both sides, that cloud spread out and clouded up the screens on either side of her.

You simply can't do that to people. :)

I dunno, it seems that to others, when they hear about people turning their spare bedroom into practically a vape store w/refrigerators and freezers to stockpile 20 years of nic solution, DIY, flavorings, and hardware.......that maybe it's fear induced?

Just sayin'.

People who don't vape or have any kind of dependencies probably think that is pretty odd behavior. and would probably think a person who does that is actiing, um.......fearful?

It's the usual human condition...."if I do it, it's not weird. But all those other weird people out there, practicing fearful behaviors........."

Exactly my point as well. I see a very clear lack of civility in those who proudly proclaim they'll vape anytime or place, other people's feelings be damned. It doesn't have to be illegal to be rude.

I shake my head and wonder (especially on reddit) how some people " throw caution into the wind and do things before wondering if it was a good idea or not" and i sometimes forget that 99% of the time they are much younger than i am lol.

I then think back to how i was in my 20's and 30's and the way i thought and then i get it .

Lets be honest, youngsters think completely different and do outlandish and weird stuff , to them stuff that most older folks think is crazy seems completely normal and is no big deal .

Man , i can't believe i actually survived those years , i was a big time troublemaker , nowadays i'm considered normal by comparison and everybody knows "herb" is not what one would consider normal .

I Bought and Sold Freon, watching Prices shift from $27 for a 30lb cylinder to almost $600 in just 5 years of Federal Regulation.

Fear? nope, investing.
