Got in the prototypes today and am very pleased. They succeeded in making the cap just like i drew it for them the first time which should catch little excess juice if necessary and keep liquid from going in your mouth.. got a little more of a lip on the draw side to help prevent them getting pushed in just a tad better.

Regarding any burning issues, we've thoroughly discussed the potential issues and I think we've made progress..just keepin ya guys updated..trying to constantly improve :)

Do they still have the higher ohm rating Ben? What in particular was done for the burning issue (if you can say)? I haven't noticed any burning issues, just curious.

It was just a couple batches, we had some reports..have taken further steps to ensure that it doesn't happen.. it had to do with the internal construction, the fireproof tubing, and the amount of cotton batting.

They still have the higher ohm rating.

Have been testing and will confirm an order today..production shouldn't take too long--I'm thinking it'll be by next weekend.. Grrrr I wish everything was instant but shouldn't be too long of a wait

Sounds great. You're the only vendor I know of that has taken steps to address this. I look forward to testing out the new ones, although I do like the 'old' ones too.

He may not be the only vendor who has taken steps to address the issue, others have too, but Ben is the only one that I know of who discusses those issues freely and openly with his customers and has never been afraid to acknowledge if mistakes have been made. That alone is laudable and he has a loyal customer in me.

Ben, I, and many others, truly appreciate your courage to bring your own difficulties and frustrations to the public forum and fearlessly share them with us. And I appreciate your listening to our concerns, soliciting advice from us and taking steps to fulfill our wishes.

Thank you and hang in there. I've never had a better cartomizer than those first softcap Turbos. Sheer perfection. I still have a few and only reach for them for "special occasions." I'm sure the next batch will be just as good, if not better.

Thanks for the update, Ben! Looking forward to getting some more softcaps, as I'm pretty lazy when it comes to soaking and cleaning... the good news is I can use the softcaps from the old cartos on the new ones once I pop out the hardcaps. I'd love to get some business cards with my next order so I have something other than a scribbled cocktail napkin to give someone when they see me vaping in the local bar...

I wouldn't be doing it, but I'm afraid it's necessary--if I didn't vent about it somewhere, my head would explode :D
