Good afternoon My Friends :D

Yeah Bro I got about 4 hours of sleep last night, I was really restless for some reason. Got off work early today though so that helps, now I can relax a bit and just chill for the rest of the day and not drink any Extra Strength Monsters today LOL

Got the Gamma tank for the Avenger and I think I am more of a single wick person than a double wick Bro, this thing is Awesome and looks Effin Great! on the Ss Avenger, but the dual wicks is a little too strong a hit for me. I think this one will be going up on the classies unless I can tone it down a few notches on the TH. The thing is a beast and it kills me that it hits too hard for me because it is so nice looking.

Hope you are having an awesome day my Friend!
Sincerely;
Nate

haha, i just picked this up too, but running it in single wick mode with 32 gauge ribbon wire on a 4/3 wrap (about 1.2 ohm). still having trouble setting it up right, seems to give off very little vapor and too much TH. gonna fiddle around with it some more (someone said to just play around with coils even though i don't have hot spots/legs/errors) or maybe bring it down to the shop this week and see if Jason can work some magic as well... :)

Heck Yeah Bro, You close that air off too much and it will blow the back of your throat out. I just wrapped it with the 0.5*0.1mm Kan D Ribbon on a single and it seems to be mellowed out a bit now where I can take the air control down a little more to tighten the draw just a little. This thing is really nice looking but if I can't get it to work just right then I will probably throw it up to the masses on the classies this week sometime :D

Hope you have some better luck with that sucker Bro, I really like the post alignments and how easy it is to secure the pos and neg posts.

Sincerely;
Nate

you do? i actually think it's a PIA to setup, especially with that itty bitty allen key to secure the coil. but darn it, i really want it to work since it looks so sick on the Nzonic or Chi-you (kind of like girls who wear uncomfortable high heels to look good, lol).

what ohm is your coil at? mine is registering at 1.2-1.3 which i think is too low for this particular genny...

the other thing too, i just noticed today is that the vapor seems to going down into the tank as well... pretty sure it's not supposed to do that...

I have not noticed anything going down into the tank. I am getting 1.4 ohms stable now that I have vaped almost a half a tank through it. I think since they were brand new SS Wicks they may have just needed some time to break in. Right now I am only using the one because I think in order to get a good 1.2 to 1.4 ohm dual coil I am going to need some 24 or higher AWG Kanthal to run straight through the center post with even tails on both sides and about a good solid 4 wraps on each wick. That is the part I do like about it, the center post hole makes it very easy to even out the two sides of the wire for even wraps on both wicks when setting up doubles, I think though that it will require a higher gauge thinner wire in order to get what I want without a whole lot of wraps because there is just not enough room for that many wraps on this thing. The hard part is getting the negative posts connected once you get your coils just right.

I too really want this thing to work simply due to the form and perfect match it makes on the Avenger. I may end up trying to get a Chi You for it though. If I can't get it figured out because I really want to do both wicks to take full advantage of this bugger.

Do you have the little rubber stopper in the second wick hole? I have mine in right now.

no, i removed mine which i typically do on all genny atties that have that plastic plug. i actually thought u were supposed to, so that there is no risk of the plastic melting. isn't the plastic plug just to prevent leaks when transporting?

I am not really sure other than to stop leaks what it could be for, but I know that with as far away from the other wick as it is it has pretty much no chance of burning as long as you are not doing the "Extreme Vaping" thing with the 0.4 ohm coils and such. I have had zero problems with mine. I also know that in atomizers with two wick holes and no fill hole folks take them out in order to help with wicking. But this one has a fill hole so I don't see any reason to leave this one out. I may try and craft something or try and find something that is a little less combustible though than soft rubber to plug up that second wick hole until I can figure out the dual wick thing.

ok, maybe i'll give it a try and see if it changes anything. just a little freaked out at the thought of vaping plastic. :D

Yeah if you are using a mechanical mod with a 1.2 ohm coil on the other side of the base from the plug you should have no problems with melting it. I am more concerned about melting insulators than anything else on a Genesis Atty. That is my Biggest worry with these but it has really not been too much of a problem with the ones I have.

so i think i figured out the problem with the Bliss v2: the airhole is just too small and it doesn't quite line up exactly with the wick. i had a friend drill it out just the tiniest bit and BAM, it made all the difference in the world... it's still a little annoying that it doesn't quite line up, well, unless i loosen the top cap a bit. however, doing so doesn't seal it tight anymore.

Good Morning my Friend :D

Yeah we both have the same set up and are swapping notes on how to get it running just right, this one is a pretty different animal for sure but really really want it to work right. I So want to do double wicks but I think in order to do that I am going to need higher gauge wire with more resistance in order to half it with the dual coil without being too low and hitting too harshly.

Well I am off to Duty my Friends, hopefully talk to ya later but if not have a great day and Talk to ya Tomorrow :D
Sincerely;
Nate
