AHHHH Our communication here sucks!! We did not have the fire fighting today, today was the wet trainer where we spend an hour or more being blasted by high pressure cold chlorinated water LOL So we do the firefighting tomorrow, at least it was warmer then yesterday when we finished up being DROWNED!! and were able to warm up a bit outside when we were done

Yeah it really should have been the other way around because I feel like an over dried piece of beef jerky right now LOL And I drank a boatload of water yesterday and today in preparation for this evolution. Still dehydrated pretty badly though. I am still drinking lots of water trying to replenish my body with vital fluids. I was dripping wet when I came out of that trainer this afternoon and it was not from the fire hoses, I dropped a LOT of water in sweat really fast in the heat.

Starting to feel a bit better though so that is a good thing

Yeah it was pretty brutal indeed. I have never understood it either my Friend, we seem to make things hard on ourselves all the time. Then again, fire is never easy to deal with on a ship. It is always hard so I guess that is why we train the way we do.

Feeling much better now after about a total of 6 1 liter bottles of water today I feel much more hydrated and less dizzy and disoriented

One more obstacle this week and I can relax this weekend and come up and visit and see if we can't get that RSST working proper like

Looks like the parts to make the other Poldiac will not be in until Monday unfortunately Hopefully I will get lucky and they will get here early

WAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!! I am so tired, LMAO I have had one hell of a week my Friend, looks like I will be heading up tomorrow Got the OC Spray today and made it through that then BBQ'd food for everyone and we had a nice out door picnic during our decontamination time We usually do something like that when we go through the pepper spray thing

Yeah it is down to 77º now finally. It was very warm here today too Brother. Here's hoping it will be at least a hair cooler tomorrow Yeah it was definitely rough today. Luckily my forehead does not sweat much unless I am actually working out. That way the stuff does not ever really run down into my eyes, it just feels like a sunburn on my forehead

There were places over 100º inland today and that is not even counting the deserts. Not good for fighting the fires that have broken out recently though.

I have GOT to agree with ya there my Friend. I looked like a boiled lobster in my forehead between the steam burns yesterday and the OC Spray burns and Sun Burn I got today LOL I should be good to go for summer tan now
