I ordered the ssgts yesterday on the COV presale, not sure if i should have or not. It looks sharp and will go good with my ody with the air control but I am not sure how and how it comes is it pre assembled or will i have to put it together?
is there a manual?

I thought i seen a out of box post some where but can't find it again. Can someone help me out???? I guess i'm getting nervous about my purchase and want to know all i can before it gets here.

I just recently took a GGTS apart to polish and put it back together for the first time. It's literally screwing a few tubes back together. I wouldn't even call it assembly as you have to telescope the tubes anyway for different size batteries. It really couldn't be simpler.

Even the small pieces in the connectors are just a matter of screwing a few things together by hand. Nothing even the least bit complicated here.

ok another newb question. will i need to get any other adapters, rethreaders ect. to use my ody? i did order the ody ggts base.

With the GGTS base you will not need any adapters, with the 510 base you would. I use a 901 to 510 and a 510 to 901, works perfectly. Does'nt really hurt to be prepared, just in case.

"what is actually in the box" - just the unit itself
"will need to be assembled" - 5. Button will come to you assembled but not tighten, so you will be able to tighten it as you want (you have to tighten it at the position you want by using the thin nut and also you have to tighten the head with the pin
This is the button you press to complete the circuit.

What are you going to use on the GGTS, an Ody, a Penelope, or something else?
