I think they look really cool. But I have a question. How can you tell if they are working or not (not counting the lack of vapor...LOL)? I ask this in most innocence. :?:

I am so used to the LED batts that with my vaping style (out of habit I always hold a finger up to the end of the bat to check battery status by the glow of the LED) I am cautious as to trying them.

With normal bats, I can see if the bat is working or flashing. Just so you know, My bats seem to hit the same and make the same vapor time after time till they give out (and then start flashing).

From what I've read so far...its not good for the bats to let them drain completely before recharging...but I guess I am old school and used to Ni-cads...let them drain completely so they wont remember being charged half way...LOL

The downside to having no led on the stealth batts is that there is no way to tell when they are done other than the lack of vapor production.

To tell the truth, however, I never wait till the LED is flashing to recharge anyway. In over a year I only had a batt run completely out a couple of times.
As you know, these batts are Lithium Ion and do not exhibit the memory effect that plagues NiCad batts.

Thanks Wader I did not know that....hmmmm, so that means I can just hook them up to the charger when ever and it wont cut their life short?....you mean they are that smart?

I have 9 batts that I keep in rotation and I have just vaped them till they are dead and then throw them on the charger and grab a fresh one.....hmmmmm

I got mine yesterday. It's even nicer than the picture. I wouldn't exactly call them camo though. Someone else here said that they look like paint spatter, but upon seeing it up close and personal, I think they have more of an oil on water kinda look. Very nice.

I have the same issue with regard to knowing if it's working. lol Perhaps concentrating more on the drop in vapor production will help train me to put them on a charger more quickly. :)

I received my shorty stealth batteries yesterday, 1 in pink camo and 1 matte black. However, I have a few problems. I thought that these stealth batteries were supposed to have a 20 second cutoff no matter what size you get? My matte black shorty cuts off at 6 seconds! And yes, it has been fully charged. The pink camo shorty goes the full 20 seconds. Also, it was mentioned that the center post problem had been fixed with these new stealth batts, yet I still have to adjust the center post on both stealth batts in between cart changes. I haven't had any issues with any of the new shorty batteries when it comes to the center post. These are the first ones I have owned that do not need adjusting. All the older batteries still need adjusting as well as the diamond series batteries and these "new" stealth batteries. I have gotten used to doing the post adjustments in between cart changes, but I thought this issue was resolved with the new stealth and diamond batteries.
