Can the ring be recessed? If so, then painting it shouldn't be a problem- the paint would hold up to button pushing fingers!! I like the new switch and to me function is everything, although the color miss-match w/ the catch cup still throws me a bit.

I like that too. I'm always worried that I will mess that wire up.
In a perfect world I would prefer the new switch either with a black ring or brass to match the catchcup or a stainless catchcup but Rob says thats not going to happen. The new switch would not keep me from buying a mini Woodville though.

I feel the same way. no its not removable I will look into some paints it would be easy enough to pray a bunch of them.
The ring is recessed a little its a round mod keep in mind. The only way I could recess it more is to make the mod a little wider and I don't want to
The button looks great. I just ordered my REO Mini today and already I'm coveting the Mini Woodvil. I need at least two, you know.
I haven't ordered a reo before and count down time is coming. Wednesday is the day That being said I don't care one way or the other about the button If Rob wants to change it I won't care. I am still going to order the mini woodvill anyway
FYI: Rob will be working on a few ideas on how to color the ring ether black or brass to match the catch cup. I am sure he will keep every one posted as he has them to show.

I like the silver bezel If you really want the bezel to match the juice catch cup, you can get some "chrome" tape with adhesive backing and put it around the catch cup. Just my
