I have rewicked the notch coil a few times with decent success using KGD. I really don't think you could do it with Rayon.

My Ultimo has a new home these days, I gave it to a buddy who just loves the ceramic coils. We'll see how that goes when one leaks out all over his mod, and he was warned... I gave him the whole kit and kaboodle, tank, spare ceramic, spare notch and the RBA. He has ordered a second one from FT and a few packs of ceramic heads to go with it.

The Plus or the Supreme? I figured you would have both already.
Steamcrave RTA's seem to always a minor bit of condensation between the AFC ring and the base. No leaking yet and I use the Supreme and Plus as daily drivers with my Crius Plus's.

I have the V1, the V2, the Supreme, and the VRDA, but it's the off season for me... no purchases until April or so...

Is the glass tube in ULTIMO a standard one ? I'd like to have something bigger than the original 4ml.

There are a ton of taller glass tanks available, but you would have no way of keeping it in there since the top section screws to the coil head.

Couple months of use and now leaking issues on the ceramics on my end. Maybe I'm lucky.
