Sitting down, facing forward.
Every time mine has lost it's "mind" it goes to 10 watts and hold the temp I set it to, at least so far. That is happening les and less as I get used to it going to sleep from inactivity. I've learned to check the screen for a display when I first pick it up after it's been sitting for more than 10 or 15 minutes.

When it loses settings on you guys, what does it go to? Mine usually kept the same temp setting and dropped to 10W, but last night it reset temp to 450F and 15W. Just thought it was strange it went to something different this time.
mine always goes to 450/15....but it doesnt now i use the long press-5press trick!

So weird! This makes it resetting seem even more strange, since it's not even an across the board "forgot settings" all the time. It doesn't happen to me that often, but I'd think it would forget the same way every time.

I would like to pull the trigger on the invader after everything I've read and watched on youtube. Before I do I thought I'd ask if anybody knows where to find the v2 in the green color if it's available. I'd like to purchase in the U.S.
I found a couple sites that have all but green in the, of what I believe are good prices in the $58 range. Does this appear to be as good a deal as any?

The only places I've seen the V2 didn't have green as an option, but I haven't looked very hard either. However, even if it ends up being a V1 (which I think most of us in the thread so far have?), the quirks still wouldn't be a deal breaker for me. I've been happy with mine so far other than the couple tanks I can't get to make a connection, but that also started after I dropped the tanks, so may not be any fault of the battery.

Sounds like it's at least in the ballpark. Finding a green one makes the pricing a little more difficult.

Thanks for the replies. Not finding a green one is certainly no deal breaker for me. I'm scouring through the 4th sales to see where the least cost v2 can be had. I'll take one in black, blue or grey. Green is like finding a unicorn.

I have been using this mod regularly for awhile now and it does have much of the same quirks that are mentioned in this thread. Overall though the device is dependable and rugged enough for my work device. I am pretty sure I have a v1 and if it bites the bullet sometime I will probably buy another just because I deal with paint, drywall, carpentry, and power washing and it is a mod I do not worry about being careful with at work.

I don't know if they have any deals going on, but this is where I got mine, currently $54.95. Heatvape Invader Mini 50W V2

Thanks jks89, I've had my eye on that. Never ordered from them though. I have ordered from evape.us and they have this Electronic Cigarette - Best Electronic Cigarette - Vapor Cigarette Buy the Best Heatvape Invader Mini (V2) 50W Temp Control from www.evape.us with free ship. They both come within a buck or so shipped.

i didnt even know they did a green one?!?!

I'm starting to think this is a small v1 run. Probably not a big seller so they may have dropped it.
