Just an update, to all of you, thanks to your help....
I ordered an Ego 900 mAh with an EGOCE4 Vision Clearomizer, THE RIGHT charger, and got a free sample of Florida Citrus Explosion e juice, ordered from vermillion river. I'm kind of doing this on the collection of everything I've read on this thread and research but I think this will all work together nicely like a decent vaporizer should. I could be terribly wrong, let me know if I am c;

I'll get more e juice from a B&M before it gets shipped here.

Excited to get some actual serious vape on.

If you place an order with Jet Cigs.
Use CHECKOUT50 in the coupon box.
You'll get half off everything on the site.
They always ship the same day too!
Jet has been a lifesaver for me.

If I would have been stuck just ordering from Blu.
I might have just given up on vaping.
I use Jet batteries as a backup kit.
They came in handy with the Volcano cartos.
They were way too hot on the Premium 100.
The smaller battery did the trick.

Glad you decided to move up to a larger PV.
You'll be much happier with the performance.
Blu is perfect though for vaping on the go.

What?! 50 Percent off?! why do they even allow that as a coupon code?!?

And yes, I love my blu for its portability, I'm about to head off to class right now and I've got everything I need in the little PCC and no one questions it since it just looks like I'm smoking. I'm glad I have something like this even when I move on to bigger systems.

The code is only good for your first order.
The guys from Jet are geniuses.
The main guy is a chemical engineer.
They know that you will get hooked on their stuff.
After that you can use SPINFUEL for 30% off.
I've placed about 6 orders with them in 2 months.
Last order was for the juice bottles.
Mojito flavor is the best thing I've ever vaped.
Apple literally tastes like hookah.

Blu is good for what it is.
But there's no reason to order refills from them.
I haven't tried Jet menthol.
But I'm sure it's delicious too.
Their Classic Tobacco tastes like a good cigar.
Jet high strength is also 22mg.
Makes a huge difference helping with cravings.
Throat hit & vapor are better than Blu cartridges.
I was bummed because they were out of stock on chocolate.
V2 & Volcano chocolate made me gag.
Jet Swiss Chocolate was like vaping a brownie.

Is this the point we all start chanting "One of us! One of us!"??

:D

All I can add is buy small bottles and find shops that let you try juices in the store and such. I mean, really, the combinations are just insane, you're going to want to sample. Like the whole thing about PG vs. VG. Blu uses 100% VG and Johnson Creek is their supplier. You didn't care for Blu's cartos so it may be you'll prefer more PG than VG. And, of course, there's not just two choices but mixes. 80/20, 70/30, 50/50...

Both of those two are the base liquids and they produce vapor differently and mixes produce different vapor and it comes down to personal taste so nobody can know ahead what you'll like and what you won't. I seem to like a 50/50 mix now. But I rather liked the Blu flavors and vapor (well, when it worked) so I kinda prefer more VG. Pure personal preference.

And there's the nicotine levels. Blu's way too low for me. I was plowing through cartridges like a maniac. Costs too much. (Which may be their point. The disposables are higher nico content than their cartridges. Hmm.)

I'm still new enough to be doing the whodahuhwha? at all the possibilities in e-liquids. Got a little brick and mortar not too far away (but enough it's not around the corner) I want to get to that lists 200+ flavors on their website.

Don't rush yourself, you'll be flinging money like a maniac. :)

I had to put the brakes on myself hard when I realized I was about to be spending more money than I spent smoking. Realized with all the many, many, MANY options in vaping, I could end spending ten times more. Craziness.

You're going to be satisfied with that. Just make sure you have a spare clearo (and replacement heads till you learn to rebuild) or two as well as at least one extra battery when you get the chance to get them (depending on finances). Always a good idea to have spares. For the moment though that 900mAh battery should serve you well, I got about 11 hours or so of medium vaping out of mine before it went to fully empty. For the moment you can use the Blu while your eGo is charging, and it's not a big deal depending on how much you vape.

Also a note: The CE4 clearos are top coil with long wicks. Heavier juices that are all VG based may have some wicking issues. Your mileage may vary but I've read thinner juices tend to perform better in a clearo. A tip for that is you can turn it on it's side a bit here and there to splash some juice on the wicks to make sure it stays wet and you won't get a burnt taste. Also some flavors that are highly acidic (and cinnamon) can potentially cause problems with your clearo, cracking the polycarbonate tank section. There are some threads about that so you'll want to look into it, but I wouldn't worry too much at this point. The important thing is you are off to a good start, and any hitches on the way can easily be smoothed out as you read and gain more experience.

You might want to do some checking on that juice. I know Cinnamon, Bannana, and some strong citrus flavors will etch or crack plastic clearomizers and tanks.

Here is an other. Njoy says their King lasts for 2 packs because of the nicotine content of the juice in the cartomizer. The reason it doesn't last as long as however long 2 packs lasts you is because of the battery. Remember it is disposable for a reason.

I'll elaborate on this one a bit. You can never believe any comparison/representation saying any cartridge or any amount of fluid is equivalent to any number of cigarettes. There are too many variables on both the smoking and vaping ends of the spectrum including, but not limited to: what strength cigarette did you smoke, how many, what strength liquid, what kind of battery you have, what kind of atty you have, and so on.

Some help with abbreviations you'll commonly see throughout the threads:
PV - Personal Vaporizer
APV - Advanced Personal Vaporizer
RBA - Rebuildable Atomizer
RDA - Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer
VV - Variable Voltage
VW - Volkswagen but more often referring to Variable Wattage
cartos - Cartomizers
clearos - Clearomizers
PAD - Packs A Day
ECF - Electronic Cigarette Forums
FDA - F...ing DumbA$$es
BT - BiT(#obacco
BP - British Petroleum or more commonly referred to here as Big Pharma(ceuticals)
CASAA - Consumer Advocates for Smoke-free Alternatives Association

Google Images helped me a lot with identifying these parts.

Damnit I completely forgot about that and meant to keep it in mind...

If I only fill the clearo the amount I want to vape in one sitting, vape and then clean it, will I be in the clear? I don't plan on leaving my place with this for a while at least.

EDIT: I just ordered some cartos from Jet for my Blu (puffin on my last one :/) and I threw in one bottle of apple medley e juice for my clearo, that wouldn't be considered acidic right? Apples arent citrus and dont SEEM acidic but neither does cinnamon... I wish Jet had more than mojito and apple e juice. On the bright side the 50 percent off worked c;

Sounds like all good purchases, I rather like my CE4 clearomizers, though they last about two weeks--I've been able to get just over a month out of them before they are about ready to fail. Depending on the version you're getting you may be able to replace just the coil-wick assembly LJ Esmokes (my local B&M--they also have a website google it, I don't think they are a registered vendor on ECF--so I'm wary about linking them [I don't know the rules about that, but I've always gotten good juice and equipment from them], though PBusardo from youtube has several reviews of their juices) calls these a CE4 V3 (probably version 3).

About the citrus juice, you may want to check this thread.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-crack-tanks-ce2s-clearos-16.html#post5903197

So you may want to put the citrus juices in a carto. Other than that most juices work well in CE4s. The only problem I've had is that I have to thin down juices that are more VG than 40%. But I like to thin my juices down with PG anyway. I like to vape at around 21mg instead of 24 and no one sells 21mg juices.

(I'm weird, 24 is too much nic, 18 is not enough, but 21 is just right--I will eventually drop down to 18 though.)

ETA: Also with a CE4 when your juice starts to get lower you may wish to "twirl" or tip the PV in such a way as to aid wicking.

The juice I planned on putting in the clearo is 60%/25%/15% blend of glycerin/PG/water (plus flavors). I don't have any Propylene to water it down with, will this be a huge issue?

The citrus juice I will be getting is anywhere from 30-40 percent but it looks like I won't be putting that in my clearo anyway ;/

Concentrated orange juice will melt plastic. That's why they still sell it in the cardboard tubes with the metal end caps. PG is available at any feed store. All e-juices are at least slightly acidic. We probably shouldn't be vaping out of plastic at all, because of what might be leeching into our juice, but compared to smoking, that's just a tiny blip on the radar. :)

You've got a lot of good info in this thread in a very short period of time. This is a huge forum with tons of information collected over the last several years, with a lot of veteran vapers. My advice to you is just take some time every day to read. Check out all the various parts of the forum. The InfoZone, Reviews, Suppliers, Blogs, etc. Don't let it overwhelm you...eat the elephant one bite at a time. Meanwhile, as a noob, I'd recommend visiting a B&M (brick & mortar store) near you and sampling some liquids to get an idea of what you might like. Try different nicotine levels, and if possible, different PG/VG ratios (I think the standard is between 70/30 and 50/50). Once you find something you like, I'd recommend a couple of eGo batteries and a Stardust clearomizer (get 2, have one as a backup) if you haven't already got something (I didn't finish reading all the posts in the thread before replying). Also, every question you have now and will have for the foreseeable future is likely already answered multiple times in multiple places in the forum here, so familiarize yourself with the search features and you'll find your answers quickly. Last but not least....welcome!!

I stopped reading after the 4th page. No one's opinions are better than your own. The best way to get an opinion is to try stuff out.

YOU ARE IN CHICAGO! There is a huge vaperbash happening there in April. YOU CAN GO there, try out a bunch of juices, and hold the PV's in your hands, and SEE and TOUCH all the things people are talking about. And you can make up your own mind about whether you want a cig-a-like, a disposabe or a not disposable Provari, a box mod, a bottom feeder etc. There are vendors from all over the USA going to be there. You lucky dawg!

Welcome to VapeBash.com

You've been waiting and counting the days. Today it's official!! The Windy City Vapers Club announces our 2nd Annual VapeBash! That’s right, we are having the biggest and baddest event this side of the Mississippi with more venders and an awesome venue. Don't be left out!!

VapeBash will be held at the Rosemont/O'Hare Hilton in the main ballroom on April 12th and 13th of 2013. Admission is free, our raffle is free and the fun and excitement is your obligation. Don't miss out reserve your room today to see all the top venders in the industry and party with all your friends.
