just wanted some advice or tips on getting the best out of the eliquid.
I just got a bottle and a pack of blanks. i filled the 5 blanks with about 20-25 drops and stored for over a day. i went by the suggestions in dripping on the V4L site. my first one was good, the second not so much.... very harsh throat hit and very little vapor. Any reason why this would happen? maybe i dotn know the tricks in dripping? i also tried another and thought maybe just that one but this one was the same, very harsh TH with little vapor. maybe someone can fill me in why? i bought the 11mg vanilla from V4L and a sampler pack of blanks.

I see Morandir has posted some snow dragon links. Those are good ones for sure, but snow also has a very good tutorial on syringe filling. With blanks I think you will want to syringe fill for the first time and be very careful there. After that, in my opinion, the best and simplest way to refill is just by topping off via dripping. I top off about 6-8 cartos per night for the wife and I and they will last 10 days or more. We each will use 3-4 throughout the day. It's pretty rare that we burn one and most often we throw them out when they get that old dishtowel taste to them.

My wife bought lets see....a box of pre-filled Peach and a bottle of juice to back them up. There was a sale so I think she got it all for like $22 shipping included. She still had a few cartos from her starter kit. It's lasted her 3 weeks now and she still has a third of the juice left. I think she's going to be re-ordering soon but $22 for three weeks of vaping compared to the same 3 weeks of smoking. You can see how economical this is.

I'm still a newb myself, but my advice on refilling is to simply keep doing it and you will get better at it. That and following Snow Dragon around and watching all his videos is the best way to go about it.

gjr it sounds to me as though you've put too much juice into the carto and it is now flooded

letting them sit for any length of time really shouldn't matter all that much

you have a couple of options here:

1. wad up a paper towel that will fit into the carto and try to absorb a bit of the juice off the top and see if that helps
2. if you have a manual battery, hit the button and just take a few puffs in rapid succession, this can burn off some of the excess juice, you dont have to inhale the vapor just take it into your mouth and blow it out...if you are using auto batteries, don't do this as some juice can get into the hole and fry the battery
3. get a syringe out, stick it into the bottom of the carto and see if you can back out some of the juice

All great advice, and welcome to the forum gjr! I just wanted to add that if they are flooded blowing through the battery end of the filled carto will remove the excess juice. I tend to do this often and it really helps. Just keep practising and learning and you will become a pro, happy vaping:vapor:

I dont blow thru the battery end ,i blow thru the top of the carto with white mouthpiece removed .Hold a piece of tissue or towel under ,you will clear the center that way .Then ,look thru the carto to see that the center channel is clear .Sounds to me like its just clogged ,happens ,no big deal .Watch snows video on drip filling and you will be fine .:)

Hi gjr, sorry to hear that you're having a problem.

This could simply be a case of a battery fade....try that Carto on a freshly charged battery or Passthrough if you have one. A fully charged battery puts out 4.2v but the output starts to fade after an hour (depending on which battery) or so of steady vaping. Once the battery output dips under 3.9v the flavor of your juice and amount of vapor can diminish. Add to that, a possibly (although I don't think this is the case) over-saturated Cartomizer and the results would fit your description.

Let's just say you didn't check the air tube for flooding...no biggie. You'll know if the Carto is over-filled because juice will leak out of the battery hole and/or you'll get a drop or so on your tongue upon your first draw.

I hope that helps and gets you back to a happy vaping place again!
