)I'll add that it makes total sense for V4L to run the sales. It is like Groupon in that they run a large sale and get volume and economies of scale kick in. Plus it clears out stock sitting around depreciating.

Yes, I agree. Excellent marketing strategy. And these wonderful employees hanging around this forum being all nice and helpful and supporting--also an excellent marketing strategy. Check out how many viewers this forum has as compared to the other suppliers. All the reasons I parked myself here. Can't wait to see the sale tomorrow!

In the past I have bought from:
White Cloud: Their flat rate international shipping is $21, trackable to my door(takes same time as V4L method & same Customs variable), or
Fed Ex for approx $30-$40 (can't remember exactly & have lost email) delivery in 2-3 days, trackable.
Cigarti: Their flat rate international $22.50 by Aramex, 2-3 days, trackable to my door.
My point is:
V4L charge $25 flat rate international, it is not fast, and not trackable. For $25 I think it ought to be better value for money.
I would probably pay a bit more for a faster & more secure shipping method, eg Fed Ex, if my memory of the cost is about right, if that was an option.

So don't get me wrong, I'm just saying that I think their international shipping could be better value for money. Sales are great, but what I save in sales usually just makes up for the shipping.

Prob just not enough US customers would pay for the other shipping methods .I know here UPS service is not what it used to be and companys here in cali are dropping them like crazy .And fed ex here within us is crazy expensive so thats probably why they dont have fed ex as an option ...may be its better price d within aust ? I feel your pain .....
Now that would be expensive unless you can get V4L to send you flat rate ! Would you go snail mail, say around 2-3 weeks delivery??!!! Might be a shock to our Customs people.
