Hi everybody I am new to this forum I found a thread on symptoms and effects of vaping and i wanted to reply on there but I need more posts so I will ask it on this post along with introducing myself. First of all, switching to E-cigs was a great decision I have not craved a regular cigarette yet and I have been vaping for about 2-3 months now. I can breathe a lot better, can taste foods a lot more and just a lot of positive things I can say about it. But I have one major problem and I am not sure if it is due to the E-cig. I am having very strange symptoms and I never had these problems until I started vaping. I lost strength on my lips and on my left side of face in all. it is hard to close my left eye completely but my right eye closes perfectly fine. If I try and grip the e-cig with my lips or even drink something out of a can it is hard to keep my lips shut and liquid falls out due to that problem. My mother says these symptoms are similar to stroke symptoms. If anybody can help me ASAP that would be awesome and also I do not do chewing tobacco or smoke cigarettes or anything like that the only thing I am doing is vaping. So any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Bryan

I am using PG and was just noticing last night that one side of my face seemed in a little spazum so weird I saw this post. It seems to only happen at night and I was thinking maybe it was too much nicotine however I did not have a head ache. Mine is not bad and I am certainly normal but it did have me wondering if it could cause Bells Pausy or how ever you spell that. I know one of my friends smoked a lot of .... and next thing you know for 3 weeks the side of his face seemed fallen. But your sysptoms sound more severe you should see a doctor if it is very bad pretty quick. They say you have about 3 hours to get to a doctor. Even though with gma there was not much they could do to stop anything. After a stroke it takes 3 days to see the effects and that is if it is mild. I just went through that with gma

I was reading that aswell and I don't have any negative symptoms that are listed on there only the positive ones, this is the only negative affects that I have gotten. So do you think it is due to the E-cig liquids and vaping, or to something else?

Could be related but who knows? maybe quit for several days to see if it gets better,, Also see your doc. Hope all works out for you!

Whoaaaa... Wait a sec there...

I'm almost sure that vaping is unrelated, but...

My grandma had the exact same symptoms shortly before having a right hemisphere CVA.

But thankfully it was just an ischemic CVA, because of her diabetes, and she's alive, well and no sequela whatsoever.

Anyway, get to a doctor PRONTO.
