Hi Critique, your symptoms are quite similar to those of facial palsy. But I'm not sure are u old enough to have this problem, and also are u a hypertensive, diabetes or hyperlipidemia? If so, you better check with your doctor now.

Another posiblity is that u might be allergy to pg. If u insist not to see your doctor now, Lets stop vaping and wait for few hours, if its allergy, the symptoms will subside.

Hope this help.

okay everybody I just got back from the Emergency Room and it is Bell's Palsy they also ran an MRI and it came out fine. A good thing to know though in case you have the same problem as me is when I raise both my eyebrows only the right side wrinkles and not my left because of my palsy but if i raised both eyes and there were no wrinkles on my forehead then that is a sign of a stroke. The doctor also told me that Bell's Palsy is not something they no much about except it has something to do with nerve #7 in your brain and it should completely reside in a month or two. Until then they prescribed me artificial tear drops to keep my eye moist along with steroids to reduce inflammation also a patch for when I go to sleep. So Bell's Palsy pretty much just happens and the doctors are not sure why so I'm glad it wasn't anything severe and I could keep vaping happily like I have been :) Thank you again for all your help and concern.

@Geeker that Bell's palsy sounds exactly like what I have

I just saw your post and as soon as I read it, I was also going to say that it sounds like Bell's Palsy (but one should always see a Doctor when not sure!). I had it a pretty bad case of that (came totally out of the blue, woke up with it) when I was 26 yrs old (never had it again) and with facial exercises (I had a pretty severe case) it all went away. In my case I could not close my left eye at all, my wrinkles were all gone on the left side and forehead, when I smiled the left side of my face stayed in place and only the right side of my lips smiled.

Eating was hard cause food tened to stay in the left cheek, pain in the neck, but like I said, it all went away after a few weeks with the exercises (electric pulses with a small handheld gadget, applied to certain spots in the face moved the parts affected and kept the muscles toned), but I am not sure if they still do anything to speed up recovery. Mine happened in 1976. They did not know anymore about it then than they do now.

Good luck and don't worry, it will all work out :)

And congratulations on your decision and success on quitting those old cigarettes.
