Welcome to the forum, and to vaping. I think you're going to be in for a pleasant surprise; namely, that your desire for cigarettes will fall away naturally, like leaves in the fall. No pain, no suffering, just the pure enjoyment of vaping any flavor you can imagine, at any strength of nicotine you want (or need) from zero to voweeee!
The following is a cut and paste of an answer I gave to someone else just starting out:
"Read this thread:

I think it has all the info that anyone needs to get off to a solid start.
Read the post from mynameisrob, and my reply to it.
Bottom line:
E-power power source - replaceable 3.7V 18650 lithium-ion battery - get a starter kit - $55 or so?
Edit: *** Or a smaller battery/slimmer E-power power source ***
Joyetech eGo-C atomizer assembly - (cone, base, atomizer head) - get at least 2. They're like $7.50 each
Joyetech tanks (made for the Joyetech eGo-T or -C) $1.25 each
Boge 2.0 ohm dual-coil cartomizers just to see what cartos are all about. Maybe $3 each?
Juice
Then start vaping.
You'll be miles ahead of most people were after their first purchase".
***
Don't think that your first purchase has to be the ultimate, perfect device that you're going to use for the rest of your life. I really think that the "big replaceable-battery power unit with 510 threads" is a home run for anyone just starting. You can get any attachments you want for it; "attachments" being the various combinations of ways to supply juice to atomizer coils that are energized by your power source. (What I call a "power source" most others will call a "PV" (personal vaporizer)", "battery", or "mod", but I think "power source" is more to the point.
I could go on, but it's bedtime. Again, welcome to the forum, and welcome to a better, healthier life.
