Hi everyone,

I have been lurking here for awhile but have many questions as i just received a Provari for x-mas, so i figured i would join. My local B&Ms are no help with the Provari. Most sell beginner sets and mech modes so I'm not finding any toppers that i like. I see many here use carto tanks and I'm thinking I'll be ordering a regular plain jane prob from IBT to give it a try. What i really want is a kayfun lite plus or Russian but i cannot find them anywhere. Anyone one know a reliable place that I can find one? It's been frustrating because many have told me that is the best rba out there for the Provari thanks for the help and I must say you guys have a great amount of info in these sub forums, really helps ppl get information.:vapor:

Well, you came to the right place to ask about toppers. :D It seems like most of us use cartotanks (IBTanked), ProTanks (me) or Kayfuns (3.1, Kayfun lite, Russian 91%). I ordered my Kayfun Lite clone from fasttech. It hasn't arrived yet.

I'm pretty happy with ProTanks myself, especially after I learned to rebuild the heads.

I think Cloud9 in the UK has some original Kayfuns in stock, but they are charging about $20 more than retail for them.

This is where i got my kayfun clone. I ordered it thrusday and got it yesterday. So far so good. I really like it. luxorvapes.com Not a bad price on it either. The one on 101 is cheaper but they are both diffrent brands. The one at 101 is Tobeco and the one from Luxor is HCIGAR. From what i gather they are both good clones.

as I posted earlier, not sure if you seen my reply in that other thread (apologies if you did). but the only place I know that has them in stock in the US is evcigarettes, but..supply and demand.. they aren't selling it cheap..

normally the 91% runs at about U$95, they have it in stock.. for U$109...

they often appear at ECF's classified's with much better prices, but you will need to get verified to be able to access that part of the forums http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/announcements-news/283955-how-become-verified-member.html

I have a full sized russian and I just finished a build on it that turned out amazing. best results I had so far.

if you are willing to wait a while, kidneypuncher is taking preorders again.

good luck, hope you can find one soon!

Thanks guys, i was hoping to avoid a clone but I may have to get one anyways. Who makes the original or real Russian? A lot of clones out there and it gets confusing. Sorry Sunnata, i didnt see your reply in the other thread and ty for the info. Just trying to do it right the first time instead of buying something that will break and end up costing more in the long run.

No worries, I understand. The russian is manufactured by Upper Class Technology and distributed(?) by Kebo. From what I heard, Svoemesto had a partner and due to some sort of disagreement, they decided to go separate ways and his partner decided to release the russian thru UCT. I really like the build quality, and performance, no regrets at all.

the only thing I don't like is that the finish doesn't really match my Provari (black). I'm thinking about polishing it, but I am afraid to mess it up. It would probably look much nicer on a Satin Silver than it does on mine.

I have a plan tho... a brushed kayfun 3.1 for my black 'vari.. and a second Provari in silver...both will look great and I will have backups :vapor:

Unfortunately, as stated before, both the Kayfun Lite Plus and the Russian 91% are rarely in stock. I have both. I preordered my Russian from Kidney Puncher. Currently the next batch has an expected ship date mid Feb. The Russian is made by Kebo, the same manufacturer as the Kanger line.

I ordered my KFL+ from Vaperrev after signing up for email notification when they had them in stock. As far as I know, they are the only US distributor. Cloud 9 Vaping, based in the UK has them in stock.

If you don't want to wait you will have to get a clone.

Waiting on my first Provari in the mail...can't wait! Love protanks too, and am interested/nervous about rebuilding them Iam pretty sure I can buy supplies at my local b&m and follow a couple YouTube videos, any recommendations?

The Kayfun lite or the Russian 91%, are great. my timing for the 91 has always been bad, so I have 2 KFL's, people always get afraid of building coils, but once you do a few of them it's easy, I was using the pro-tanks also till I tried these, it is hard to go back to them.

intaste.de ships the Kayfun "Designed in Russia, Manufactured in Germany" models and has the KFL+ in stock right now. I've ordered twice from them and they are crazy fast with shipping! If they're out of stock when you visit, you can sign up for email notice.

I also have an R91 that I got through a preorder. Mine is flawless, but you never know what to expect from the Chinese. And it really isn't much cheaper than the German built models.

I haven't tried the other Chinese models.

Already, you speak like a veteran builder, KAS.

I have given up on the PTs altogether. Get you a nice RDA (I like the IGO T) and you will be set.

My KFL from intaste arrived at my home in the states five days after I ordered it. They are first rate!
