New to Rebuildable need a little help

So I ordered this from fasttech $5.10 V5 Electronic Cigarette Round Mouth Detachable Dripping Atomizer - 1.0 , and I immediately rewired with 32g wire (4 wraps) on cotton single coil. I didn't really roll the cotton, just placed it in loosely. My itaste svd gave a 1.9ohm reading. I set it at 8.0 watts, but there was barely any vapor coming? what did I do wrong? Secondly, for lower resistance vaping do you go up or down in wire gauge?

You can try a 30ga wire with a 4/3 rape or you can do a 32ga but twist it

The draw is very tight, so i'm wondering if it has to do with that.

i use 32 exclusively, even my ribbon is equivalent to 32. that has nothing to do with your problems . i love this atty.
first the wick is too loose and needs to be firm for best wicking.
make the coil a little closer to the lip. not right up against the posts.
take the top, hold it next to the atty and make sure the coil is the same height as the airhole.
when the cap is on the airhole needs to blow directly on the coil, i usually set the hole to kind of blow at a slight angle, you will know as the vapor is real smooth when its just right,

and last i opened the airhole to about 1.18mm (just the bit i had under 1.2)

once you get the wick built correctly the only thing to worry about is how far away the coil can sit away from the airhole if right on the posts.

i run all my atty on VV around 1.8 to 2.0 at around 3.7 to 4v no problems.
