Yesterdays VapeMail sigelei ZMAX Telescope (exhalevapors) and iClear30 (altsmoke)
Just gonna address the ZMAX for now. Havent tried the iClear yet cus im low on the juice im very familiar with which i need to give it an accurate review. Should be here today though, ill update with my thoughts on the iClear30 soon.
I 1st saw this Zmax last week and I immediately wanted it. Why? Purely looks ..and the fact it telescopes for a decent price (where I got it at least
) In the pic it is telescoped out to 18650 which is how im currently using it. Im training myself to use the 18650 more as opposed to the '350, if you've read thru this thread you kno I love me sum 18350 and wasnt a fan of '650 setups but its growing on me now.
The build quality on the zmax is great it feels much better in hand than the eVic with either the 350'or '650 batteries. Its nice and sturdy it jus feels solid. I prefer the button placement on the zmax, I dont mind the eVic button but I like to fire with my thumb, so on the evic that means the button is facing me while the screen is facing outwards. On the Zmax obviously both are facing me and I like the feel of the button a bit more. The threads are also smoother on the Zmax.
I also feel I get a more intense vape from the zmax, Same carto's same setting on the evic is not as intense ...Why?? RMS setting maybe? I think so. Also worth mentioning, in watts the eVic adjusts in .1 increments while the zmax adjusts in .5 increments.
Menu system is where eVic Trumps ALL contenders. I love the eVic menu system, I love the scroll wheel I love the options. I use at least 3 or 4 different attachments a day and I like to cycle thru them, all the oHms are different so I change power settings quite often, with the evic its a few flicks of the thumb dont even have to look, All with out having to go into any menus! Change from Watts to Volts without having to go into any menus! See my ohms and battery status without having to go into any menus! So yes the eVic has me Spoiled I know and I dont care I love it. Now with that being said the menu on the ZMAX is as straight forward as it gets Nice Oled screen easy to read in all light (my screen kinda tilted though), 3 clicks to get into the menu, then for example, 2 more clicks to get "power down" then you have to wait a few seconds for it to go into it, once in then you can adjust the power down. I know I know its like that on many devices I just have to get used to it. Like I said eVic has me spoiled and thats why I love it.
But overall the Zmax Telescope is a great Device Im very pleased with it. I just have to set aside specific attachments for it so I dont have to keep adjusting the power as much. Great device for a good price I got it from ExhaleVapors.com using coupon code "VaporJoes11Percent" They have secured future business from me and heres why. When I ordered they had up a pic of the flat top Telescoping Zmax, it was pretty much a preorder cause it wasnt supposed to ship until wed 4/3. So I placed the order, about a hour or 2 later I get an email stating "We just got the Sigelei shipment but its not the flat top, do you want a refund or take this version and we will ship it out today" I made my choice obviously and JOKINGLY in the email I said "You guys are welcomed to throw in a free battery for inconvenience lol" and they did! a 18650 nice!! Also this was on Saturday and I got it Monday, I chose regular shipping so they also get points for Ultra fast shipping.
I really appreciated them contacting me instead of blindly shipping me the version I wasnt expecting and of course I appreciate the fact they actually gave me a battery. They go on my "frequent vendor" list now.
