Its not the hardest thing ever. My first coil was kind of sloppy and too tight and I spent the majority of the afternoon yesterday to get a perfect one but I finally got it!!!! Its a perfect! The flavor production throat hit, even the warmth of the vapor is so amazing, I won't ever go back to cartos/clearos only maybe for extreme backup. I'm vaping on an AGA-T+ by the way :D

Thats a bold statement but makes sense. If I gotta build it, it dam well better be the best lol

Vapefest is this weekend so ill definitely be on the look out. And if I do end up with an AGA, you have just volunteered for customer support lol

I will be ordering sum more MBV, probably today actually along with another 18350 battery. I got the AW IMR 700mah now but I hear the eFest batts are good too (not as good as AW) and I keep seeing them everywhere, 2 for the price of one AW. So I might try those and have them as backups

Battery tech is something I have to read up on immediately. Actually, that's the next lesson that ECF is going to teach me. As for what I know, I have an eFest IMR 800mah 18350 button top. I want to get another '350 and a '650. However, before I do that, I need to figure out if I should have a flat or button top. Like I said, the one I have now is a button, but I think I read somewhere I should have gotten a flat top. Which is, honestly, what I thought I bought, but I checked my invoice and I goofed; ended up ordering the button top. It's a snug fit, but it seems to function fine. Do you (anyone?) know what can happen if you use a button instead of a flat or vice versa? I also need to read up on the different types of batteries available in '350 and '650. Then determine what the limits are for the Anyvape and get the biggest mah I can, while being safe. Any advice/suggestions/opinions? you might have on any of this?

Vapefest is this weekend so ill definitely be on the look out. And if I do end up with an AGA, you have just volunteered for customer support lol

I know you've mentioned going before, but I don't think I said this... I'm jealous!:D Then again, not putting a hole in my wallet is nice. I can only imagine how tempting it will be to buy stuff. I can't wait to hear about the stuff you get. I'm going to have to experience it vicariously through your posts. Are you going to update about that here or in another thread?

As for rebuildables, I will certainly give it a shot one day, probably sooner than later, but I still have some progression to do first. I still have some basics to cover/experience first. That's not to say I don't drool on them when I'm out perusing the internet vape stores. Not completely related, I don't think, but definitely drool worthy, have you seen the AMP tank at avidvapor? Way out of my price range, but I tell you what, if I win that monster powerball this weekend, I'll buy us both one.

I wanted to share a little about my recent vape-purchases (not vape mail this time since I went to the store). DDark4eva, you may already know this if you read my other thread, so I'll try to keep it brief. I bought a few things on a trip to iVape after work today. I bought 1 charger (for mod batteries), 1 bottle of Serendipity juice at 12mg, 1 iClear16 and 1 T2 Clearo/Tank thingy... yeah that's its official name.

I didn't mention the T2 on the other thread because I haven't used it yet. To be honest, I have low expectations. I'm not 100% sure, but I think I've read/watched more negative reviews or comparisons than positive. It wasn't expensive, so I figured I'd try it out, plus I couldn't imagine it being much worse than the vision 2.0's I've got.

The iClear16 (the baby brother to the iClear30) is impressive so far. I've been through roughly .8ml of the serendipity juice from ivape and I have no complaints so far.

The Serendipity juice is yummy. It's a fruit mix, I can't yet describe, but it's good. According to iVape's juice description its a top 5 seller for them and I see why. I'm going to hang out with some fellow vapors tomorrow, so I'm sure I'll be doing a far amount of flavor sampling, but I'm almost certain this juice will be my primary APV tomorrow... which I will be enjoying on my new Anyvape CVI v1!!!:w00t:

My battery now is button top only cus the site I ordered from was the only one that had the '350 tube and battery in stock. Working fine no issues I know some fellow Evis users using the same and i did read a detailed thread on the batteries Ill link it to you later. The battery I have on the way is Efest flat top.

I've been extensively researching Rebuildables the past few days, I was pointed towards the Drunker tank from gotvapes as a starter. But I have a Vivi nova arriving today Im gonna try rebuilding a coil for that 1st then decide on whether i wanna pursue it further, and Vapefest later so Im trying not to place anymore orders until after If i have any $ left lol.

Im goin with a $100 budget and i dont actually plan to spend that much but we'll see. Yes I will update this thread later tonight with my experience there...I wish I could change the title of the thread now to sumthin like "my ongoing journey" ..or "DDark Knight Rises" :D

Today's vape mail
a2uqubag.jpg

1st off VapeFest Was great Im glad I went but ill get to that in a later post cus its sooo much to get thru so lets jus do my vapemail from today

MBV Flavors:
Double mint- Perfection The flavor is spot on like chewing a piece of the gum.

Vanilla Butternut- I would say mostly butterscotch with a vanilla undertone. I put a few drops in my main vape and its amazing but overall good flavor It is worthy of reorder. What I think Im gonna do is order sum vanilla and make this perfect

Chocolate Frost- Now my last order had Chocomint..and to be honest they are pretty much the same, not bad but I jus cant tell them apart, it upsets me a bit cus I could've gotten another flavor instead :glare: What I may do with this is add sum extreme ice to it and make it live up to its name

Whipped Cream- The one I had the highest hopes for but was let down, It smells jus like it but the flavor is very weak and thats WITH 1 extra flavor shot. I may try it again with 3 or more shots we'll see.

The Rob aka the Freebie- Its a fruity vape with a splash of sourness. honestly taste like their Thug juice and sour Yum mixed

And the Vivi Nova (gotvapes)
If you been thru this thread you would know I hate anything Top coil but the Vivi nova has so much positivity surrounding it and I have gotten many recommendations. I wanted to buy one sooner but CNY had everything sold out. I finally got it and in the words of Pbusardo "Now I get it" Im vaping it right now and I am very very pleased with the performance, Im not a fan of "tilting" but its worth it. Also I wanted this cus I plan to get into RBA's soon, and I see alot of ppl rebuild these coils so why not start here, I see this as a 2 for 1 deal but Im very happy with this tank right now.

Oh yea also picked up a 510 to 808 adapter for my halo carts I still have here.. mainly the LR's. I dont care wut anyone says Halo's LR carts are amongst the Best!

My next few post/reviews will be about vapefest and the stuff I got, Im gonna need some time for that though its mostly juice....actually looking around, its all juice lol. The only other things I got was an extra 18350 for my evic and a case. I have 15 flavors to try ..yeaa thats gonna take awhile.

Man, I can't say how jealous I am. I read some of the NY Vapefest thread you've posted in and wish so badly I could have gone. Your weekend sounds way more fun than mine (unresolved car issues, as I mentioned in the pm i sent you earlier). I'm going to have to do some research for a vapefest type convention near me. I would love to attend one. Unfortunately, a NY trip isn't exactly in the cards. Although, I just googled it and its just under 700 miles or 11-12 hours away, depending on traffic and exact route I'm sure.

I recommended some MBV juice earlier today to a fellow vapor. They WILL BE my next juice vape mail order. Although it may not be my next juice order generally speaking. I can't put this Serendipity juice down from iVape. I can't really put a word to the taste other than fruity. Their description of it reads:

This is one of our definite top 5 best sellers and for good reason! Serendipity is a blend of several ripened fruit flavors, perfectly mixed to a sweet and delicious vape that everybody seems to love!

I can only say... Amen and I will be back sooner than later for a 30ml bottle.

I'm excited to hear about your vapefest trip... and the juice thoughts, but mostly the vapefest trip. I'll keep my eyes posted.

The spoils of VapeFest
2abezedy.jpg

Vapefest was a good time indeed. I didnt get to stay as long as I would have liked to but it was fun and worth the horrible drive. Luckily I treated it like work and decided to get there early cus mannn did that line get long, didnt matter if you bought a pass online or not you still had to wait. I met and chatted with a few ppl, shared and received some knowledge/stories but not much, I was honestly too busy goin from table to table trying and looking at stuff. It was my 1st meet and Ill say regardless of the crowds and line ill be goin to every one close to me if I can help it. I think meets like this need to happen more often. This is why I need vaping friends cus I would really try and put together something like a monthly meet where we jus hang out and vape I would love that.

Anyway Thanks to MBV and a few others I actually spent more money getting there and gettin in than I did during the actual event. Ill say this, Ppl who weren't MBV customers already are goin to be customers now they were literally just giving juice away. Im not gonna post my actual quantity (I have a lot :D) so I just took a pic of the new flavors to me,They had a few more but I already have and talked about them in earlier posts. The esix and MBV stuff was completely free. I only actually paid for volcano liquid, Efest battery and a case which u cant see cus its black but its right behind the juice.

Now lets get thru the flavors:
MBV all 50/50.....Bare with me most of them are fruits and pretty hard for me to tell which fruits lol
EctoCooler- If you've every had the Hi-C drink its pretty much spot on, if not its a citrus orangy vape

Caramel Apple- Probably the only flavor Im not to fond of...yet. Its not bad just feels like it needs to steep its vapeable but not for too long IMO...ill check it again in a week or so

Thug Juice- This one along with ecto is the most popular ppl should know about this but its ALMOST jus as the website says, it is definitely grape and watermelon but I dont get any menthol from it at all (gonna have to add my own ) but its very good

Ocean Breeze- Tropical fruit vape pretty much..sorry i cant break it down but its like uhh.. tropical fruit juice..i think snapple would be the closest example

Peach Ring- If you like peaches try this its pretty good, I personally dont like the 18mg version but the 12 and 0 is good

White Out- Exactly as the site says, Sweet mint with Aniseed...theres a candy that taste just like it but I cant remember the name..old ppl candy I used to get from my grandmother

Hawk Sauce- another fruit vape but with a hint of sour. Almost like thug juice wit drops of Sour Yum. or the "Rob" wit less sour and more fruit basically. Probably my favorite out of these here.

Thats it for MBV, if your preferred vape is fruit candy or mints then this is the vendor you need to deal with. The have the best prices hands down great customer support and shipping is very fast. I prefer tobacco and mints/menthol if they would put the same effort into a making a tobacco flavor as they do everything else they would probably be my only vendor, but out of the 19 flavors I have from them I only dislike 1 and that is 555 its horrible but 18-1 is an amazing record and still much more to try.

Speaking of Tobacco heres where I kick my self cus I found 2 new ones at Vapefest. One being Volcano's Tobacco Pure, if you been thru this thread you kno i used to have volcano ..why i didnt try their tobacco til now?..cus the flavors I did try sucked! but this is my new main base, yes its up there with Torque 56 and Tribeca....ya know wut (as I take a vape) its better. Its a good not dry but saturated tobacco flavor wit a very very subtle sweetness to it I jus love it. And if it wasnt for the very attractive females at the Volcano Table I would've had no reason to stop there but im glad I did lol. Im jus so mad I didnt try this when I had volcano b4 oh well I know now. their 15ml is like $13 which isnt great but ill be goin for the $30 anyway.

Another company that randomly secured my business was EsixVapors. They gave out the little bag you see in the pic which contains 3 flavors
Pom Springs- Nice tropical Island vape with the flavor leanin more towards a pina cola

WaterBerry- Go to the store and buy Watermelon bubblicious gum. theres no better way to describe it, its very good

Pipe Dreams- The flavor that won me over. A nice Smooth pipe tobacco with a sweet undertone..they say vanilla I jus say sweet lol. but its not overwhelming its just a perfect mix. We kno I do a lot of mixing with tobacco but this I vape alone I do not (probably will) need to alter this flavor. Its a perfect Grab a drink kick back and vape kinda vape.

And thats about it, the only other thing I got worth mentioning is the '350 eFest battery which im currently testing today. So ill update with battery life VS the AW in a few days or so.

That sounded like a blast. I checked out someones photo album from vapefest and would have to say I'd be a little star struck when I seen some of the people I watch/read on the net.

I seen this thread had fizzled a little, not sure if that was intentional but I've been dealing with my car, in one way or another for the past week. Sad thing, I still don't have a car that will start. Next step is taking it to a mechanic, but that's going to have to wait until next weekend. So looks like at least another week of cold, if not wet and cold, rides to work. BUT I'm not complaining, it could be worse.

During this mess, iVape, my local b&m got in a lot of inventory. So, I went and racked up on a few things. I purchased 2 18650 2000 mah batteries, 2 18350 800 mah batteries, 1 iClear30, 5pk eVod replacement coils 2.2ohm and a bottle of Tropical Passion juice at 12mg.

In all honesty the only reason I was going originally was to get my first 30ml bottle of juice. I later found out they got new inventory. But, after I downed a 10ml bottle of iVape's Serendipity, I knew I had found a worthy juice for my first big bottle. However, when I listed it in my order, I was told THEY WERE OUT!!! Oh man, I was bummed. I tested tropical passion, I decided to get a small bottle of it and I don't regret it. It's not Serendipity, but not a bad one either. I don't know what passion fruit tastes like, but my buddy said he tastes passion fruit.

After I found out they had stock, my other big reason for going was to grab me and my buddy some iClear30s. My buddy and I both already own some iClear16s. Which, although small, are awesome clearos. So as soon as we seen they had the 30s we jumped. These things are awesome. 16 wicks!!! That's a lot of wicks. The one thing I don't like about it, the swivel tip that comes on it. Not that its bad, it's actually very high quality, but I would like to be able to remove it and put my own 510 drip tip on there. I have gotten some gurgle with it, but it was usually after having it in my pocket for a while. One thing for sure, I've yet to get any juice in my mouth. This is the first device I've used in a while that I can say that about. I'm sure I'll find a way before long though. All in all, I wish I would have grabbed at least another one.

On a side note, see the photo below where I'm holding two iClear16s. The one on the bottom broke in my buddy's pocket. The one on the top is what it should look like. I don't know why these uploaded sideways.

The battery life on the 18650s is awesome. When I first bought them, the original 350 I bought died and I couldn't charge anything because I left my cable at work. I ended up grabbing one of the 18650s out of the box and it was about half charged. I used that battery from 6 at night until about 3 in the morning. Then from 8 in the morning until about 11 or so before it died. I was amazed. If it was the 350 at half charge, it wouldn't have made it through the first night. I have now charged all 5 big batteries. I've been using the first 18650 battery to reach full charge on the charger. I started with it from around 4-12 yesterday and so far today (4 or 5 hours) and it currently reads 3.8 out of 4.2 volts. I'll probably still be using this thing tomorrow morning.

See below for a pic of my anyvape with the iClear30 and 18650 battery. Yeah, the picture really sucks and is sideways for some reason, sorry about that.

Sometime this week, I'm placing a MBV juice order and going to grab at least a couple different carto tanks. I'm going to narrow it down very soon. I've been missing out on vape mail. So it's time to change that!

So before I go, I have to admit, it feels good to write a 'book' about ecigs again. Seems lately they've all been car problem related... no where near as fun. Thanks for reading.

Sorry these photos suck.

Yea Im Finally using my '650 battery this weekend trying to get used to it. Vaping for hours and only at 90% where as my 350 woulda easily been at like 65-70% but I knew how great the battery life would be I still prefer the '350. To help with my transition I have an 18500 coming with my zmax I think that should make for a good middle ground.

Good to hear about the iClear30 cus I have one in transit along with 30ml of Tobacco Pure from Volcano and A customized phiniac Tank, cant wait for that

Just wanna share this with everyone cus regardless of how far I've come or where I am today vaping wise, all the mods an such. I will always support Halo.

Halo's new Triton system Finally.

SmokenJoey Reviews of the New Halo Tritan Tank System - YouTube
VaporChase Review - The Triton Starter Kit from Halo - YouTube
The Halo Triton - The next great eCigarette from Halo Cigs | Spinfuel Magazine

They're also gonna have VV and passthru options

I may even pick one up when I get sum extra cash.

Wow, wish they would have had those when I first ordered... although I was still at the 'its gotta look like a cigarette' phase, but those things are awesome. When a VV version drops that could very well be my ego back up for when I'm on the go. Too bad the kit comes with T2's. I have one T2 and mine was a waste of money, burnt or plastic taste... like the vision clearo 2.0s.

FYI, still on the same 18650 that I mentioned in my last post. It's now at 3.4v, but so much for thinking it would be dead by this morning.

Oh, 808, nothing an adapter can't fix, but I haven't bought anything for an 808 in a while. Still not out of the question though.

Looks like I'm going to be getting a Kanger Protank. Hopefully, this weekend I'll make my way back to iVape and they will still have one. And hopefully some serendipity juice.

I know for a fact I will be getting some Mt Baker Vapor juices. I just placed an order for Double Dutch, Butterscotch, Ecto Cooler and Thug Juice. Not sure why or if this is normal, I had to get 30ml bottles. The price was very reasonable even though. So, I'm not complaining too much, but I would have liked to have tried a few other flavors with this order. And so much for saving my first 30ml bottle on one I felt was worthy after sampling a smaller bottle. Oh well, hopefully, one of these would have been the winner anyway.

Highly recommend the raven its awesome once you get the voltage/wattage right for your juice its amazing

Is it a low wattage? Does it taste burnt or plasticy if you turn it up say 7/8 watts? Thinking of grabbing this sometime this week, but not if its finicky. I want eVod performance, will I be disappointed?

Since you into butterscotch Try Vanilla butternut its very good along with whipped cream and everything else you mentioned

No im using 2.4ohm one now and with my mix on the eVic 7.9w is the sweet spot. If i go higher lets say 8.2w ill taste the difference ..8.5 or so ill begin to get the burnt taste. This particular cart depends on wut you're vaping I say. I have a replacement cart for it I forget the ohms though.

The flavor is so clean and great vapor production, cooler vape though. The reason I say you gotta find your Voltage/watt sweet spot is cus the cart it uses has just a coil on the bottom no wicks sitting on top of it like the EvoD, your liquid will be feeding directly from the tank to the coil, nothing blocking the flavor. So once you find that setting your gonna love it, its a good buy.
