New to vaping

Hi guys. My girlfriend and me just got Ego C Twists 650maH and Pro tank 2 minis on friday to quit smoking analogs. It has been working out well and am loving the different flavors and we are both doing good on not smoking analogs. We both smoked about a pack a day before but it seems like her battery is lasting about 2 days before she is charging it which seems to be the normal battery life according to the B&M store we bought it at but I am going through my battery in a day before it is dying and it needs recharged. Already had to take my first battery back because it wasn't holding a proper charge and just wondering if it is possible that our different smoking habits is what is causing me to go through a battery a day. Yesterday she used about a tank of juice where as I used about 1 1/2 tanks. But my battery was fully charged in morning and died after about 12 hours after being unplugged but hers was on 2nd day of not being charged and was still going after mine had died. First off, Hi and welcome to ECF!

As far as battery life - 650mah lasting 2 days is just crazy! But as you said you went through more juice than she did. Since you are using yours more within a day than she is - your battery will die sooner. 650 is a rather low mah rating and you are more "in the norm" usage wise. My 2600 mah BARELY survives 2 days of use. It sounds like both batteries are functioning fine - just that she is a lighter use vaper.

Another possible factor can be your volt settings. If you arent identical then the batteries will not last identical amounts of time. Different workload is being placed onto it.

No worries. With a 650 mah battery, a full day on a charge is very good, the two days your girl gets is amazing. I use a 1300 mah variable voltage eGo and run it at the 3.7 that most eGos come standard at, it will last all day (my days are VERY long) through 2 tanks. You're good.

i can kill my mvp 2600 and a 18350 in my mini provari in 2 days a 650 wouldent last me all day

Well 650 mah wont last too long if you vape much, my itaste v3.0 with 800mah would not last all day for me withouth charging, but the passthrough allows my to charge it while using it when im in the car or sittin by the computer so i dont run out of juice too often.

Neither my 1000mah or 650mah last me a whole day on a full charge. You're good

My husband and I have similar differences. I kill a PT3 and a 900 mah ego everyday atleast. Sometimes more and I can fill his tank and charge his battery every 2-3 days because he barely vapes. Shoot I have used 2 atomizer heads since we got our Protanks 3 weeks ago and his is still producing good vape and flavor.

Hi and welcome! Another option you have is upgrading to a mod, like a Vamo or a k100/k101. its cheap and very effective.

I have an 1100mah ego that I started with and it lasts barely all day if I vape a good bit. It all depends on your vaping habit and when you first make the switch, it also depends on how much you used to smoke. That will change in time as you make the full switch to vaping but at first, if you used to smoke a lot, you will end up vaping a good bit to make up for the temporary loss of that void. But don't worry, you aren't doing anything wrong and you don't have a faulty device or anything, so you are all good sir!

Forgot to mention the voltage. We are both running around 4.0. Which I also figured was why it isn't lasting as long either because obviously higher voltage=less battery life lol. Just new to this and only having 1 battery at the moment makes it very frustrating when my battery dies in middle of the day especially if I am at work. I am planning on picking up another battery tomorrow so I have 2 to rotate through and we have already ordered another 2 tanks a piece for switching out juices. I like every juice I have but haven't found an ADV yet. And thanks for the quick replies guys. The vaping community seems to be a very nice place where everyone is helpful

Your battery life is great when I compare it to my usage. 2 of the 900mah will not last me one day. 3400mah gets me a day and half.

Does that make me a cloud chaser?
