I usually start at 15 and work my way up by 5s to 30ish, tanking 3 puffs each time... after 30, go up by 2 wats each time... but my preference is not above 35 max, it's up to you, even if the coils can take it, doesn't mean you should... I get full 4-7 second pulls each time this way at lower wattage.
Seems I have sucked. The thing with the lower setting I lose alot of flavour.

Yeah, I do. And I'd start out with a new coil, too. Once cotton is scorched, you'll never be able to get that burnt taste removed.
Finding your "sweet spot" is always a work in progress. How do you taste your flavor if its burnt (dry hit)? It can be a very fine line to finding your sweet spot.
You're lucky to have started vaping with all of these variable power mods available. When I started vaping, variable power mods were rather few and far between. I started with a mechanical unregulated mod and was restricted to what the battery voltage was (4.2volts) and what factory-made resistance coils were available at the time (1.5ohm - 3.0ohm). Couldn't make adjustments at all.
Today we can adjust our power in 0.1 watt increments. We can choose what resistance coils to use. You've got many more options than when I started. Experiment to find what works for you.

minor suggestion... even if you don't do it, read and watch from videos about RBAs for both of your tanks... it will give you more of an idea what's involved, and to be honest? a well built rba tastes better with more clouds.
chain vaping too much gets the juice hot and you will saturate and flood the cotton, killing the flavour
I've gotten into the habit of holding my mini with one finger on the tank, to remind myself to stop chaining when it warms up too much... because it will also start to leak through the airholes.
Ok good advice. Are RBA coil a cheaper way to vape because I'm going through coils like mad

yes! but keep in mind... you're going to need to learn to DIY your juice now that you're subohming as well...
you can buy the coils premade... but there are a ton of videos out there, wire you can buy by the spool and things like Japanese cotton or cotton bacon are like $5 for a bag that will last you months...

Ok So take what you like from this but.. I don't use that tank (pretty much RDAs for me now) and I use a 200w box. I do however build using stainless steel. Something about stainless steel, you don't actually ever need it to get glowing hot. In fact, you don't want it to be glowing hot. Just hot enough to vaporize the juice. Try temp control, see if that helps. Ok so about stainless steel.. the "why"
Stainless steel gives a much better flavor array than kanthal or NiChrome. It also has a lower resistance per foot. (which is why I use it for cloud builds.. less resistance per foot = more wraps per ohm = more surface area = more cloud.. but I digress)...
Like a couple people have mentioned, start low and increase your power level a little at a time until you get the flavor you like. Also, each day before you start vaping and between every ohhh 5 or 6 pulls, do a couple pulls without firing. Just to pull juice into your wick. That is if you are puffing that thing like you were trying to smoke a brisket.. like I do. lol. (waves fog away from my screen so I can see again)...
These are just a couple general tips for tanks, and stainless steel.
Also.. i would check with a local vendor about what is the best way to store your mod for the night. I used to store my first e-pen mod upright, standing vertically over night.. apparently.. this was also why i was burning through a coil a day.. found out after I talked to my vendor.
Edit... If you do choose to do an RTA, I like the Kanger Top Tank Mini with its mini RBA cartridge. It is quite sturdy, I have dropped mine several times and no broken glass. Maybe I was lucky, I don't know.. but there it is. And..... ummm I have a video on how to build a coil on it made for noobies to coil building. (I actually made it for my little brother to show him how to) *Little bro is pushing 30 now.. but I am STILL bigger... in width at least *

Man tell me about it I bought the thing took a deep draw in and let that smoke out.......not a good idea when driving with windows up couldn't see a thing.

They most certainly can be cheaper.
I'm not a huge fan of rebuildable tanks, mainly because you have to tear down the entire tank to get to the wick and coil. But I love the simplicity of a rebuildable dripper. You take the cap off and the wick and coil is right there for easy access.
With my RDA (dripper), I change the wick (I use Rayon, but you can also use cotton) about every 3 - 4 days, and dry burn the coil clean before replacing the new wick. The dry burned coils last me 2 - 3 months.
Cotton/Rayon is cheap -- a year's supply for about $5. A spool of Kanthal wire is about $8 and will last over a 2 years.

lmao my baby truck has a sunroof I'm taking advantage of till the snow hits...
both the rbas I have are pretty easy to do and get at, and you can't beat the taste... I was out and had to put in a premade today... it was hours till I got home and could put one of my rbas in *sighs*

no worries, the coils will be cheaper, but you will still need the mortage for the juice you will go through...
Well.. they tend not to like when I mention my build, sometimes, But.. i am sub-ohming, dual coil on a mutationX V4.. and yes, I am using stainless steel. LOL..
