I have searched multiple threads and cannot seem to find answers to some pretty basic questions. I know they probably sound silly but my batteries were just delivered today and I am nervous about doing something wrong - I know, such a noob, right? I have a an eGo c-Twist 1000mah, a Vision Spinner 1300mah, and an assortment of Kangar T3s clearomizers. I purchased extra backup coils as well so I feel like I am in a good spot to start, just deathly afraid to ruin it all due to inexperience.
1. Where do I put this thing?
I am up and running with no major issues. I filled a clearomizer with some basic Menthol liquid and found the sweet spot with the VV, so far so good with excellent VTF. But where do I put it if I want to take a break? I feel like I constantly have to hold it and am worried about putting it down and having it leak. Is it okay to just detach a full clearomizer to stand it upright on the desk while I charge the battery? When I am not smoking should I always take it apart? I am nervous that one tilt in the wrong direction will mean liquid all over the place or in the wrong parts! I have been holding it upright nonstop except for typing this, and right now it is propped completely upright between my knees for fear of screwing it up with a leak.
2. How do I test small samples of liquid?
This is the big question that probably has a simple answer. So one of the basic things I picked up while researching this (and please tell me if this is wrong) is that you should always have a certain amount of liquid in the clearomizer (I read 1.3mL to 1.5mL) and keep it above that level to keep the suction and prevent it from leaking and gurgling. Well, assuming that is true, what if I have a small sample of a flavor and only want to test a little to see how I like it and determine if it should steep longer, without wasting a bunch? Then once it falls below that certain level, do I have to stop with that flavor if I do not have more to add more? Or can I keep vaping until it is close to gone and I am ready to clean and switch flavors? Do I really need to start off with at least 1.3-1.5mL when sampling, or is it safe to test out less to get a taste? I am just nervous about causing leakage or gurgling if it can be avoided. But these six little AiV samples are taunting me...
3. And if I grow tired of a flavor?
Can you just swap clearomizers to change flavors and keep the old liquid in the other clearomizer for later in the day? Or should it be emptied? I guess I am unsure of the best way to store everything and keep it all safe without unnecessarily wasting supplies.
4. Is there a such thing as 'too much charge?'
If I leave the battery on the charger for a full charge and it ends up being left on the charger for a duration of time after the light indicates the charge is complete, will this affect the life of the battery negatively?
I think I read some horror stories and psyched myself out! But I would rather ask silly questions now to make sure I do things right than screw something up because I did not ask for help, y'know? And please forgive me if this is in another thread already - just point me in the right direction if my answers are already here somewhere!
