New Vaper

Hello ECF I began vaping about three weeks ago. After some trial and error I came out with the 510 which I just got today along with two 10 ml bottles of e-liquid from my freedom smokes.

I have a couple of questions.

It was suggested to me by a friend that I should take out the filler in the carts and drip the e-juice directly onto the atomizer. Does this affect atomizer performance in the long run?

I also noticed that when I inhale It feels I'm either not getting enough vapor or it feels like i swallowed fire. I ordered mar-bro and dr. pepper in 24mg with 100% pg. could it be that the nicotine level is to high? or is that just the way it is?

Hello Madman--I am a long-time lurker but new poster. I have a 510 as well and I will try to answer your questions until someone with more knowledge comes along.
Dripping should not affect atty performance, but it may need to be cleaned more frequently to get rid of the juice/stuff that accumulates.
PG does not produce as much vapor as VG, I have read many prefer a pg/vg mix.
24 mg can give throat hit that feels like fire (especially if you were a light smoker) so that could easily be solved by going to an 18mg or 12mg.

Welcome to the forum, Madman! What you're describing is called dripping. I do it all the time as the flavor is better IMHO. Below is a link to a guide for beginners you should find useful.

As far as inhaling, use slow, long drags into your mouth then inhale into your lungs.
