Anywhere but Here *~*
Hello Fellow Vapers,

I am putting 3 kids through college so you can imagine what my discretionary spending budget is lately, Nil! I was looking into ways people are quick steeping their DIY liquids and came across Many people using Ultrasonic Cleaners to heat and shake their liquids. I thought, wow! I WANT one of those and looked at Harbor Freight, were most people are getting theirs from... Expensive! I thought I was out of luck and would have to wait weeks to send my son some of my new flavors. Well, I was cleaning out my closet and came across something that made me smile... Really Big.
I found my old Foot Fixer or as we call it, the foot bath. Not only does it heat water but it vibrates, somewhat ultrasonic(ly)! As I used my best diabolical laugh, I took my foot bath into the kitchen, cleaned it up and promptly filled it with the proper amount of water and loaded up my E-liquids into freezer ziplocs and placed them into the bath. At this moment they are loudly humming away in the kitchen being heated and vibrated, Success at last! Mine may be a Redneck version of the ultrasonic cleaner but it works! The only draw back is you need to add water ever so often due to evaporation, a small price to pay for having an "ultrasonic e-liquid bath." My foot bath "steeper" keeps the water at a contestant 120°F, except right after you added more water. Make sure to leave room for the water to circulate so you don't end up with cold or hot spots! Your garage sale "steeper" may run at a different temperature depending on the brand, so make sure to take the temp. of your's before you add your e-liquid and have filled it up with water and let it run long enough to heat up the water thoroughly. Do not use if the temp. goes higher than 150°F(as per dannyv45's blog). I was able to fit all twenty-four bottles that I had made over the last week into mine, while still leaving room for the water to circulate.
If you don't have one of these fine contraptions never fear, I have never been out on a Saturday of garage sale-ing and not come across one or two of these fancy "E-Steepers". They are in abundance here in Texas but I am sure they must have sold them in other parts of the country too. I am a retired Hairstylist and always had sore feet, so of course I owned one or two, as did many people when they first came out in the mid to late 80's. That's why most of them are in garage sales, they are antiques, lol, but these things were built to last, for $5 bucks and a little elbow grease is all it takes to own one of these bargain basement "e-liquid sonic steepers". These are my own personal experiences with the "foot bath" as a stepper and should only be taken as such, yours maybe very different. Please check to make sure yours is in good working order before plugging in and using as an alternative to an ultrasonic cleaner. Check temperature readings and generally use common sense. Remember this is my experience with My machine. Use yours at your own discretion. Read all safety precautions that come with your machine and act accordingly. Use this as a steeper at your own risk to your own E-liquid, this may not work for you add a steeper. It would be a good idea to do a "test run" on a small bottle to see if you are happy with the results. Use only glass bottles. Please read dannyv45's blog, he knows way more than me about such things. Keep calm and Vape on!
