New Website design. Yay or Nay?

I just changed a few things around on the site late last night and was hoping to hear or see via poll, if it was a good change or a bad transistion.
So what do you guys think?

Or go with a light shade of grey, easy to read , would match and make for a nice contrast.

another thought. in the nav menu, mouseover puts a highlight, you should also change the text color to stand out in the highlight (maybe black text?).

Did you notice that the items under information is not working. Such as contact, shipping and return, term of use etc.

My only suggestion is to make the text a bit lighter.
It is fine on one of my monitors, but hard to read on the other.
Oddly, the one it is hard to see on, is the one that has been through bigtime monitor calibration.

Featured products text of item listed needs to be brighter- a tad too dark. Still looking through it, changing the white background to black is a much better look!
